I stood in the mirror, staring at myself. Today was the day. I was marrying Rhys.

At the start of this engagement i never would have thought i'd have real feeling, be emotionally involved, in love with the man i was forced to marry. But here i am. Sure, this wedding was to help the family. But it made a family. Rhys, Lou and i. We are family.

My mother was doing up my dress. I looked at myself in the mirror. I'm so glad i got this dress. I've never felt so beautiful before.

My makeup was chic, flawless, smooth, me. My hair was styled to perfection. I hope Rhys liked it.

my dress ^^

I took a deep breathe, and then my mum started to cry. "You look so beautiful."

"Thank you," I sniffled. "Don't cry."

And then the wedding planner came to say it was starting. I began to walk.

It was a big wedding with many quests, but a small wedding party. Well really just us, and Lou the flower girl.

I met Lou around the corner of the isle.

"Hi baby." I gave her a kiss.

"You look so pretty mama." She smiled.

"You are so beautiful, baby girl. Look at those glittery shoes."

"Glitter shoes." She pointed at her toes.

"Mhm, i'm wearing glittery shoes too." I smiled.

She giggled. "Baby, you gotta walk to Daddy now, okay? Walk around the corner and go see Daddy."

She smiles happily, waddling around the corner as the music began. I peaked my head out, seeing Rhys smiling so happily as his daughter. Lou smiled, waving at people, as she walked down the aisle. She got to the front, and sat on a chair in the corner on the front row.

And then it was my turn. Video games by Lana Del Dey started playing.

I walked down the aisle, and as soon as i looked at Rhys, he was wiping his cheeks, smiling so big and happy. I smiled. I walked down the aisle, my massive dress following behind me as i walked.

As soon as i reached the alter, Rhys looked so happy. "You look so beautiful, my love."

I wiped my tears. His suit was so handsome, his hair so nice, freshly groomed.

The minister began to talk, and the crowd clapped for us. We exchanged rings.

Mine was beautiful, our weddings bands engraved with our initials.

And then we did short vowels.

"Myla, before i met you i thought i could never love again, i thought i was going to be alone forever with Lou. And she wouldn't have a mother figure. I wasn't a nice man. I was angry, and cold, no emotion, and depressed. But when you came into my life, you healed me. You healed the parts of me that had been broken for a long time. You brought me a family, you healed me. I love you so much, you're so appreciated and accepted into this family." Rhys said. I was bawling like a damn baby.

"Rhys," My voice shook, but i kept it together. "I spent a lot of my life alone. I didn't have anyone really. But when i met you, you were a bit of a pain in my ass, but the more i got to know you the more i learnt and understood, and we are probably more alike than either of us care to admit. You introduced me to Lou, who took a liking to me instantly. I got excited to visit and to wake up to come see you. You treat me like a princess. I want nothing more than to build our family and grow old with you and have you with me forever. I love you so much."

And then the words i waited to hear.

"I now pronounce you, husband and wife, you may now kiss the bride."

Rhys captured my lips instantly, his hands on my waist as mine were on his chest. Everyone clapped for us, cheering. I smiled, pulling away.

"Hi Husband."

"Hello my beautiful wife."

"Mama! Dada!" Lou came over. Rhys picked her up, holding her, giving her a kiss and i did too as we stood, our little family.

"Rhys." I smiled.

"Hm?" He bounced Lou.

"I'm pregnant." I smiled.

He looked at me, "Oh my god-holy shit." He smiled, giving me a kiss.

And we were quickly taken into pictures. I love my life. I love my husband. I love my daughter. It's all going to be okay.

It's all going to be okay
