Vahni POV:

As I wake up in the morning, the warm sunlight streaming through my window gently coaxes me out of my slumber. I stretch my arms and yawn, feeling the softness of my bed and the quiet peacefulness of my room. The sound of birds chirping outside and the gentle hum of the air conditioner create a soothing melody that helps me shake off the remnants of sleep.

I throw off my covers and swing my legs over the side of the bed, planting my feet firmly on the ground. I take a deep breath, feeling the cool morning air fill my lungs, and begin my morning routine.

First, I head to the bathroom to brush my teeth and wash my face. The cold water helps to wake me up, and I feel invigorated as I pat my face dry with a towel. Next, I head to my closet to get dressed in my school uniform.

I slip on my crisp white blouse and pair it with my navy blue skirt. I add my school tie and blazer, making sure I look neat and tidy. I slip on my black shoes and head to the kitchen to grab a quick breakfast.

As I enter the kitchen, I notice that my parents have already left for work. I'm not surprised, as they often have early meetings. I quickly toast some bread and spread some butter on it. I take a few hurried bites, washing it down with a glass of water.

I glance at the clock and realize I need to hurry. I grab my backpack and head out the door, locking it behind me. I stand outside my house, waiting for Veer to arrive.

Within two minutes, I hear the sound of a bike approaching. I look up to see Veer pulling up in front of me, a bright smile on his face. "Good morning, princess," he says, his eyes sparkling with warmth.

I laugh and reply, "Good morning." Veer hands me a helmet, and I put it on, feeling a sense of excitement and freedom.

As we ride to school, the wind blowing through my hair, I feel a sense of exhilaration. We pull up to the school, and I can feel everyone's stare on me. I realize that riding to school with Veer on his bike is definitely going to attract some attention.

I hop off the bike and wait for Veer as he joins me. He whispers, "Just avoid them," and together we walk into the school hallways, trying to ignore the curious glances and whispers that follow us.

As Veer walks me to my class, I feel a sense of gratitude towards him for being such a great friend. He gives me a nod and a smile before turning to leave, and I watch him go before turning my attention to my friends.

The bell hasn't rung yet, so I decide to go and chat with Anisha and Shruti for a bit. As I approach them, Anisha looks up at me with a mischievous glint in her eye and says, "What an entry, man!" Shruti chimes in, "Vihaan looked like if looks could kill, Veer would be 6 feet deep by now!"

I burst out laughing at their dramatic rendition of the scene, and they both snort and cover their mouths with a cough as people look at us weirdly. I fill them in on Veer's message from the previous day, and they both exchange a knowing look before we all erupt into giggles again.

We chat for a few more minutes before the bell rings, signaling the start of our first class. We quickly gather our things and head to our respective classes, still grinning from our morning gossip session.

As the break bell rings, I head to the library with my friends Anisha and Shruti. We settle into our usual spot, and I'm grateful to have my friends by my side. Just as we're getting comfortable, I hear Veer's voice behind me. "I knew I could find you here," he says with a smile.

I look up and signal him to take a seat. He sits down beside me, with Anisha and Shruti across from us. We chat normally, and I introduce Veer to my friends. Veer, being his usual flirtatious self, says, "Hii bbygirls, I am Veer, your knight in shining armor." I playfully scoff and laugh, while Shruti looks impressed.

I make a mental note to tease Shruti about this later. I turn to Veer and ask, "Why are you sitting with me every day when you have your friends in the canteen?" Veer's response takes me aback. "Because I like your company, princess. I've always liked you, uk. You've always impressed me because, unlike others, you don't throw yourself at boys."

I'm taken aback by Veer's words, but he quickly clarifies that he means it as a friend. He tells me that he thought I'd be part of his group, but it didn't work out that way. He mentions Vihaan's new girlfriend, saying that he doesn't like her because she's clingy. Veer winks at me and says that he's decided to go wherever I go.

"Are things all normal between you and Vihaan?" Veer asks, his expression turning serious. "I always thought you loved him, are you okay with this?"

I shake my head and say, "It doesn't matter. Was my love so visible?" Veer chuckles and says, "Yes, to everyone except him. It's still visible now." I nod, and Veer asks, "Want to talk about something else?"

I breathe a sigh of relief as Veer changes the subject, and before I know it, the break comes to an end. We reluctantly say our goodbyes and head our separate ways to our respective classes.

The rest of the day flies by in a blur, and soon the final bell rings, signaling the end of the school day. I gather my belongings and head outside, where Veer is waiting for me with his bike.
Then we ride home together
