Chapter 5 Celebration

Right as Diego arrived at the club he always used to go to as he parked his car and got out of the car "We are here Quartz the club I go to every once in awhile" Diego said as he looked around so nothing out of the ordinary could happen. "This place haha I love this place" Quartz said with a smile and chuckle going to a booth Diego never noticed how happy she got ever since the gig got done however he thought nothing of it and decided to celebrate with her as well "What can I get started with you two today" the server said as he put down 2 waters on the table to drink "Both me and her are celebrating that's it so can we do the celebration package" Diego said looking at the server which the server noded and walked away. "So Quartz can I talk to you about something" Diego said sipping on the water "What's up you feeling ok choom the fire fight must've been thrilling for you" Quartz said with a smile on her face "It was about last night when I asleep you held me close why?" He said with a confused tone as Quartz sighed then responded "I felt safe to close to you since your the only person I evered talk to besides doing netrunner jobs and through calls however you are different" Quartz said as she stood there drinking her water.

However Diego couldn't help that she perhaps liked him however he only saw her as a partner in crime and a choom that he could talk to, but he didn't know if she liked me not as a merc more than that only time will tell. "To Night City and to us salud (cheers)" he said as they both drank the tequila both Quartz and Diego decided to go dance on the dance floor Quartz moved with the music almost as if she like was the most beautiful woman there which she grabbed Diego "Come on now let's dance together unless you're distracted by me" Quartz teased him as she continued to dance with the sound of the music "I don't dance" Diego said standing there as Quartz looked at him saying "Just feel the beat and go with the flow" still dancing to the beat of the music. He moved to the sound of the music almost as if Diego was in his own world just him the sound of the music and Quartz dancing. Quartz noticed him and decided to dance near him touching his cheek looking in his eyes Diego couldn't help, but feel flustered and blush a bit while continue to dance however he accidentally bumped into someone causing them to spill the drink over them which made the person very upset "Hey watch where you are dancing you asshole" the person as he grab a Diego looked up in the eye as Diego looked at him seeing that he was a little bit bigger than he was "Whoa whoa easy sorry I didn't mean to bump into you choom" Diego said in a nice calm tone.

However the guy didn't take it very well "How about I teach you a lesson about minding your business and not invading my personal space" the guy said as Quartz quickly caused a short circuit on him causing him to go limp for a moment "Let's get out of here" Quartz said grabbing Diego as the high tailed out the club. "Get them" the person said as they ran after Diego and Quartz shooting at them causing the people in the club to panic and start running "What the hell now they're shooting ahh" Quartz said as a bullet grazed her leg causing her pain Diego noticed and couldn't help, but have rage in his eyes as he pulled out both his special pistols that had dragons breath bullets "Los mataré, hijos de puta, mueran, mueran, pedazos de mierda (I'll kill you motherfuckers, die, die, you pieces of shit)" Diego said shooting back at them making sure they would fear him. "Diego stop" Quartz said trying to get up, but barely putting pressure on her bullet wound as she headed to him as he quickly noticed someone who was behind Quartz about to shoot her as Diego grabbed her quickly holding her close and shot the person in the head as he tried to shoot another round there a click the chamber was empty however Quartz pulled his head to her and looked at him "Thank you love" Quartz said as she kissed him which shocked Diego as he didn't know what to do, but embrace the moment as he got whiff of cherry blossoms it was calm for him in that moment since all of that anger he had was completely gone. "Quartz You You kissed me why?" Diego said as he went to his car to process what's just happen "Well yeah I did It was because how do I put it a symbol of healing is what I would say or call it" Quartz said getting into the passenger side of Diego's car "How about we just head back to their apartment and just relax enjoy a couple of drinks also we can wait until the next job comes around" Quartz said looking at him as Diego looked at her seeing her sleek dermal implants and luminescent tattoos "Sure we can do that hey we are celebrating after all the night is still young" Diego said as they drove off back to the apartment.

*After of few minutes they arrive*

"Well here we are I'll get the drinks started for us" Diego said as he went to the fridge and got a nice bundle of vodka and poured it in both their cups. "This is the stuff Hey Diego when I kissed you about what I said I meant it also it was a sign to show my loyalty to you" Quartz said as she poured herself another cup however after a few drinks she got completely drunk as for Diego he was a little drunk "Oh you're so beautiful Quartz has anyone ever told you that How about we go rest we had too many" Diego said in a drunk tone "Oh well thank you and no one hasn't called me that also yeah let's rest we kind of had too many how about we kick it" Quartz said kissing him as he lifted her up and went to bedroom to enjoy the night together.
