HOURS TURN into days.Days turn intro weeks.
Weeks turn intro months, and months into years.
It's been years since he told me he didn't want to 'continue our friendship',since he left me wondering what I did next to a pile of washed dishes.

I never got my answer to that question and I have tried multiple times to ask him.
I have tried multiple times to sit next to him in the living room and was met with a glare and him getting up only to sit on the opposite couch.
I have tried talking, gestures and everything else and not even once have I received an answer.

Enoch has distanced himself from me as much as he could and everyday he would go over the reached limit and drift away a little more to the point I now sat five seats away from him at the dining table,we both sat on different couches,he never came into my room in the morning to wake me up if I had overslept.
Our normal had changed.

At least until the day Horace showed us his new dream.

Sitting at the dinner table,Horace stood up from his seat, gaining everyones attention in the process.

"Miss Peregrine, may I be excused until movie time?" He asked, already moving from the table.

"Of course, dear, take your time." She answered the boy with a half smile playing on her lips.

"Why can he leave early but when I ask I'm shut down and told to eat?" Millard asked, huffing.

"Because you run to the library and don't exit until you're starving." Said Hugh, slipping a laugh and going back to his food after earning a glare from the invisible boy.

At least I think it was a glare, giving that Millard moved his hat in Hughs direction and stood like that for a few seconds.

After everyone was done eating, the children were send by our headmistress to the living room, where we would be for two hours before being send to bed. Most of the nights we would watch Horace's movies but sometimes, when he would be too tired to project his dreams,we would just sit and chat with each other.

Fiona and I had been chosen to clean up the mess left by the children in the dining room.
"So,me and Hugh have finally made if official." She said, taking half the plates and going to the kitchen.

"Yes,and we all just learned that you two like each other." I answered, sarcastically, walking behind her with the other half of the plates.

Fiona while rolling her eyes, put the plates in the kitchen sink and turning around to face me, "That comment has gained you dishwashing duty."

"Fine but you're drying them." I said, pushing her lightly to the side so that I could start washing the dishes.

"Are you two done? Everyone is waiting for Horace and you two." Hugh said, coming into the kitchen.

"No,get out." I said,giving Hugh a quick glance.

"Why are you so mean, who killed your happiness, lady?" He asked, hiding a smile.

Ever since Enoch put a halt to our friendship,I started being around Hugh and Fiona more, spending more and more of my time with them which lead to our friendship growing.

"My happiness is still alive, man." I said, splashing a little water from the dishes on him, earning me a stuck out tongue from Hugh.

"You're acting like children. I would expect this from Claire only." Fiona said, shaking her head and putting the last plate in the cupboard above.

"You're supposed to let women go first." I told Hugh, trying to push past him in order to enter the living room.

"I don't see any!" He said, pushing me back.

"Probably because your glasses are so dirty. You know we have water, right?" I said pushing him to the side while Fiona moved past us,no worry that we might push her too.

"Hugh, let Atena come in and just sit down!" She said, stopping in the door step to look at us.

Hugh quickly took his hands back and also a step back in order to let me move past him where Fiona was waiting with her forearm extended, waiting for me to lock my arm in hers.

Hugh after muttering a quick "Not fair." And earning a "Shut up and sit down" from Fiona, sat down on the floor, between our feet while her and I sat on the couch ,Fiona telling me about another flower she wanted to grow in out time in the garden.

"I actually still have the one you let me keep, its sitting on my nightstand." I told her, earning a smile from my friend.

The flower was as beautiful as when we grew it due to the loop resetting so it won't ever die. It sat right next to a little homunculi Enoch, who sat had let me make out of his clay and a red and black bracelet Claire and Bronwyn had made me a few years ago.

"Alright everyone, please slow your chatter,Horace is coming down and our movie may begin." Miss Peregrine said, walking in with Horace right behind her.

"Finally,I don't understand why he was to dress up to sit in a chair." Hugh said, leaning his head against Fionas leg while her hand sat in his head.

Horace,in a bleumarin suit with a stone grey tie,sat down on the chair reserved for only him, putting his monocle on while our ymbryne turned the lights off.

"I think I will take this one, thistle suits me." Horace said in his dream while the children, mostly the younger ones,Hugh and Millard let out a groan in protest.

"God,take this punishment and give me another!" Millards voice was heard rather loudly, making Hugh yell out,in a more dramatic tone, "He's boring me to death!",making the headmistress give him a quick glare due to his word choices.

"Who's that?" Fiona asked, leaning on her side to whisper in my ear while her eyes were still fixated on the screen.

A boy looking around the age of six- or seventeen was shown running from what seemed to be our loop entrance, then he was shown in the Priest Hole, really ugly bar, getting interrogated by the owner.
The dream then changed, the boy now shaking hands with Horace while he gave him a quick introduction.

"He seems to look a lot like Abe!" Hugh said, looking around,Miss Peregrine giving him a nod, sharing the same opinion.
