𝐆𝐎𝐋𝐃𝐄𝐍 𝐂𝐑𝐎𝐖𝐍𝐒, 𝐀𝐞𝐠𝐨𝐧 𝐈𝐈 𝐓𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐫𝐲𝐞𝐧 ²

𝓲𝔁. 𝗵𝘂𝘀𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗱'𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗲

It has been a whole week since King's children have come into the world. Queen Eva and King Aegon have not yet announced to the Realm that the Queen gave birth to the heiress. Not yet to introduce their children to the folks but it would be soon after when Eva gets better from her labour.

The maids walk into the King and Queen's private chamber with a late break the fast for the new parents. Queen Eva and one of the wet nurses were feeding the boys since they couldn't stop crying because they needed to be fed. Eva did not like the fact that Gaelor was sucking on another human being breast but she needed the help since both of the boys were no-stop cry. They needed to be fed at the same time, and she hoped that the cause wouldn't affect the future.

Aegon watches the mother of his children feeding the baby. He did not care for a moment and just watched.

"Your Graces, your break the fast is here," Jade announced and Eva looked up from her baby in her arm.

"Finally, I am starving. My love hold little Baelon while I eat." Whatever the Queen instructed the King to do. He will drop anything even his King duty. Just to be with her and the children.

"Come here, my boy!" Aegon slowly takes his son away from Eva. She quickly slid up her dress so her breasts wouldn't be exposed as much.

Nola made sure her Queen sat properly and comfortably before Jade could set the trade on top of her lap. The smell of the food hit her nose making her tummy rumble with hunger. Jade set down the food on the Queen's lap and both of the maids bowed then headed out of the chambers.

Eva dug into the food that was made, which was one of her favorites since the first two moons of her pregnancy. Mashed Potatoes with a lot of garlic mixed with eggs. She takes the first bit and moans with the goodness of the food.

"Good?" Aegon asked his wife and she shook her head yes with a humming sound. He smiled and looked down at his son who was slowly falling asleep.

Eva was in bed rest the whole week healing from the horrible experience of her life. But in the end, it was all worth it birthing 3 babies safely, one of the sons being the future King. During the process of her resting, Aegon had been helping his wife with everything. He was sure she did not get up from their bed, he made the only exception when she needed to do her business, bathing, and changing out of clothes. Aegon loved taking care of his wife.

"Our firstborn shall be King once it is the right time," Aegon said to Baelon kissing him on the forehead. She looks at her husband to see his big bright smile.

"Aeg, he's only a babe. We must ask him once he's old enough to speak and make his own decisions like Leo did." Eva told Aegon and he looked up nodding agreeing with his wife.

Aegon and her did have that conversation with Leo about him being the future King of Stoneston. But Leo had told his parents that he didn't want to be King and Aegon and she completely understood. He has told them he wanted to be trained as a knight to protect his family and the Kingdom. Aegon had smiled at the boy, he was glad that he did not force his stepson as his family did when he was a child.

"I know," Aegon stated. He had asked the maid to lay to place the children in their crib to let to sleep.

The maid nodded and grabbed the sleeping Baelon from the King. She bowed her head and walked away from the bed along with the two maids following behind her with Gaelor and Oakley and one of the knights closed the door. The children's chambers were the closest to the King and Queen. Eva did not want her newborns to be far away from her, they needed to be nearby.

Queen Eva sighed when she watched her children walk away from her. Aegon turns to his wife to see a look of worry.

"Eva, what's wrong?" Aegon asked Eva lifting his hands, placing them on her cheek rubbing with comfort knowing she needed it.

"Maybe we should maybe move their cribs inside of our chamber. They are away from us." She anxiously told her husband and took another bit of her food.

"My Queen, don't need to be worried. They are only right in front of our chamber." Aegon told his wife and grabbed her hand.

"I swear nothing's going to happen to our babies." He promised.

Eva trusted her husband. If he says it is going to be alright and promises to protect their family and that nothing with happen to Gaelor, Oakley, and Baelon. Then she has nothing to worry about.

Right?
