Now let the story begin.

Sitting alone in his dorm room, the [U/T] student at Hope's Peak Academy named [Y/N] [L/N] is both heartbroken and angry after finding out his girlfriend Miu Iruma has been cheating on him for several weeks now.

I should've known something was up! Miu began acting differently after she came back from that robotics convention about a month ago, but I never would've thought she's been sleeping with some guy she met there! Apparently the time we've been together meant nothing to her since she showed zero remorse when I found out! Screw her!

A few tears roll down the [U/T]'s face as he picks up a framed photo of him and Miu before chucking it violently against the wall.

Why?! Why did she do this?! I loved her and thought we were happy together, and yet she had no problem banging some random dude behind my back!

He continued to cry for a few seconds before wiping the moisture away from his eyes and shakes his head.

[Y/N] : No....no more tears. She's not worth it. No matter how much I'm hurting right now. I'm not gonna give Miu the satisfaction of making me cry.

The [U/T] tells himself before hearing a knock at his door, which is followed up by a feminine voice that he immediately recognizes as his friend Kirumi Tojo.

Kirumi : [Y/N]? May I come in?

[Y/N] : S-sure.

Upon hearing his response, the Ultimate Maid enters the room and gives him a look of sympathy.

Kirumi : I heard what Miu did, and I wanted to see how you're doing.

She says before noticing the broken picture frame on the floor, causing her to frown.

Oh dear, she really hurt him. I don't understand how Miu could do something so incredibly heinous to a guy like [Y/N]? She didn't deserve to have him as a boyfriend. Just thinking about what she did is making me livid!

The reason Kirumi is getting so upset is that she secretly has feelings for [Y/N], but never got the chance to act on them due to him dating Miu.

[Y/N] : Well, I appreciate you checking up on me Kirumi. Thank you.

He says sincerely, snapping the Ultimate Maid out of her thoughts as her anger quickly dissipates before she smiles at him.

Kirumi : You're welcome [Y/N]. So, how are you doing?

She asks him as the [U/T] looks down and takes a moment before answering her.

I was hoping she wasn't gonna ask me that, but I guess there's no reason to lie.

[Y/N] : I'm...I don't know. Devastated? Hurt? Pissed? They all fit the bill as to how I'm feeling right now. I thought Miu cared about me, but apparently I was wrong. Be honest with me Kirumi, was I an idiot for getting together with her?

Kirumi : Of course not [Y/N]. How could anyone have guessed she'd do what she did? I know you genuinely loved her, so it's her loss for throwing away a relationship with a wonderful guy such as yourself.

[Y/N] : Y-you think I'm a wonderful guy Kirumi?

He asks as the Ultimate Maid feels her face heat up, but manages to stay composed.

Kirumi : Why would I lie about that? Listen to me carefully [Y/N], any girl would be lucky to be with a guy like you.

Myself included, but for now, I must put my feelings for him aside and focus on cheering him up. Perhaps in time I can at last confess to [Y/N] how I feel, but until then, I'll be there for him as a friend.

[Y/N] : Again, thank you Kirumi. I'm glad to have friends like you here at Hope's Peak.

Kirumi : The feeling is very much mutual [Y/N]. Now, if there's anything I can do to help you get your mind off of what happened, just name it.

[Y/N] : Ok, this might sound like a strange request, but would you like to watch some old movies with me?

Kirumi : I'd love to.

The Ultimate Maid proceeds to sit down on the bed next to [Y/N] as the two decide on what to watch, a content smile making its way onto both of their faces once the movie starts.

Timeskip

A few months have passed since [Y/N] got cheated on by Miu, and he's been doing a lot better thanks to Kirumi.

In fact, he's gotten so close to the Ultimate Maid that he developed feelings for her, and with a little encouragement from his friends, has decided to confess to her.

Unbeknownst to him, Kirumi has the same thing in mind.

[Y/N] : Kirumi, there's something I wanna tell you.

Kirumi : Oh? That makes two of us then. I'll let you go first though.

[Y/N] : Nonono, ladies first.

He says as she smiles warmly at him.

Such a gentleman. I've been looking forward to this moment.

Kirumi : Alright, I'll get straight to the point. [Y/N], I've been in love with you for some time now, even before you began dating Miu, and those feelings have not changed at all. I love you [Y/N].

A look of surprise appears on the [U/T]'s face before he chuckles a bit and smiles widely.

[Y/N] : You beat me to the punch Kirumi, because I fell hard for you after all the time we spent together these last couple months, and planned on confessing to you today. I love you too Kirumi.

Having confessed to each other, the two share their first kiss and embrace, [Y/N] knowing that Kirumi will never break his heart like Miu did.
