An update?! I know, so shocking. Trying to get better with updating things again.

*Aaliyah's P.O.V*

Mommy keeps arms firmly around me, letting me snuggle into her. She rubs my back as I fuss slightly, trying to press even further into her as I look back at Miachel and Rana. Miachel looks shocked and Rana looks even more shocked and also slightly horrified. I can tell she is looking between me and Zero, a frown on her lips.

"I think you need a nap little one," Mommy says, making me shake my head. I try to squirm out of her arms but she keeps them tightly around me, hoisting me up into the air and carrying me along with her. I whine slightly, reaching towards Miachel in hopes that he'll save me but the traitor is too busy talking to Rana. Talking to Rana which is the biggest betrayal of all time.

"Mommy," I whine softly as I tilt my head back to look at her. Mommy gently rubs my back as I snuggle into her, pressing my face into her. She hums softly as she carries me back to her room, plopping me onto the bed. I reach for her, wanting to be back in her arms.

"Why are you calling me Mommy, Aaliyah?" Mommy asks, making me furrow my brows in confusion. That should be simple. I was calling her Mommy because she was Mommy! It was as simple as that, I didn't understand why she was so confused.

"Cause you're Mommy," I whine with confusion, tilting my head to look at her. Why was she confused? There was nothing to be confused about.

"No I'm not, Aaliyah," Mommy says gently, making my lower lip tremble. I was not sure why she didn't want to be Mommy now. She was my Mommy...

"Bad Mommy," I hiccup as I roll away from her, rolling to the edge of the bed. I grab onto the sheets, holding onto them tightly so that I don't fall off of the bed. I try to lower myself to the ground but Mommy grabs me up before I can, sitting me back on the middle of the bed. So obviously I roll again to try and get off of it.

"Aaliyah, stop," Mommy says as she lifts me back up, setting me in the middle of the bed and giving me a dangerous warning look. I look in her eyes and stick my tongue out, not daring to move though in case that results in a punishment.

"I'm your friend Aaliyah and I don't really understand why you are suddenly calling me Mommy," Mommy says.

"Cause you're Mommy! I don't know why you're asking questions! You are Mommy!" I say with frustration as I look at her, hitting my hands on the bed.

"Alright," Mommy sighs as she sits down on the bed, pulling me into her arms. I cuddle into her, closing my eyes almost immediately as she was very nice to cuddle with. I hum as I nuzzle into her shirt, the fabric cool and gentle across my face. Mommy runs her fingers through my hair as I yawn slightly.

"I don't understand why I am Mommy but I am not going to fight with you over that," Mommy sighs as she settles me in her lap, letting me use her lap as a pillow. I sigh happily, content to just lay here as she continues to run her fingers through my hair. I was a good girl who was getting all the cuddles I needed from Mommy.

"Mommy, can you tell me a story?" I whisper softly, a yawn escaping me. Something about being so small again made me so sleepy so often. That wasn't something I truly wanted though. I hated being sleepy.

"There once was a silly little girl who was a spoiled brat. Her name was Aaliyah," Mommy teases, making me gasp as my eyes open. I pout at her, letting her know that I didn't appreciate her teasing. It wasn't nice! I was sleepy and she wasn't giving me the story that I needed to go to bed. It was like she wanted me to stay up!

"Fine, fine. I'm sorry," Mommy chuckles softly as she cuddles me closer, pulling the blanket around me as she tries to adjust me on her lap. I yawn softly, rubbing my eyes with my fist as I nuzzle into her. Her perfume smells sweet, tickling my nose. I nearly sneeze from how much it tickles but manage to hold it back.

"There once was a little vampire who live far, far away. Far across the sea where the sun never rose and the cold of the land nearly froze her every second of the day. She was as cold as ice, both in body and mind. Twisted by loneliness, a deep ache in her heart that made her long for another to keep her company," Mommy says softly as she strokes my cheek, rocking me slightly as I stare up at her tiredly.

"Far above, living on the moon, the shadows watched her. Creating a vampire of their own who lived only in the light of the sun. But neither could he not feel the warmth of it," Mommy continues as my thumb slips into my mouth, my pointer finger stroking over my eyebrow in a soothing motion. If Mommy noticed, she didn't care enough to comment on it.

"However he felt a pull that led him to the little vampire. Shaped by darkness and cold, they were the perfect match for each other. Linked by the light of the moon and the magic of the stars. For you see, they were the very first soulmates to ever exist. And they are the ones that all vampires are modeled after. Miachel, me, and you. We are all created from the heart of the first soulmates, carved from their skin and bones. Always close to our creators but never close enough. Which is why we yearn for the cold nights, the whispering breezes that rustle the tree leaves and the pale light of the moonlight that dares to shine upon us," Mommy says, her voice slowly getting softer and softer as I drift off to sleep in her arms, a small yawn escaping me as I cuddle into her. Content for her to hold me the entire time I napped.
