~ a few days later ~

"Can I stay home from school today?" Lyric asked as I helped her put her book bag on. "I'm pretty sure Des will say no." I shook my head.

"But I'm not asking her. I'm asking you. Unless you're scared of her." Lyric said, obviously being a little shady. "You need that or something?" I questioned, giving her a look.

"Need what?" Lyric wondered.

"Exactly. Stay in a child's place." I told her. "Hey. Why you being mean to mee?" Lyric gave me soft eyes. And I fell for em.

"I'm not being mean pookie. I'm sorry okay? Come on, lemme take you to school." I said, giving Lyric a hug.

"But Mara's sick! She's not gonna be there. And I think I should stay home, just in case I get sick too." Lyric expressed. "That's not how that works love." I told her.

"Aw man..." Lyric crossed her arms, walking towards the front door.

I slightly chuckled.

Once I got done dropping Lyric off at school, I headed to store. Destiny had a craving and wanted me to get it for her.

"Tayleighhh." Destiny immediately approached me as I walked into the crib. "What's up mama?" I asked as she pulled me into a hug. "My back..." Destiny whined in discomfort.

"Your back hurt?" I lightly rubbed her lower back. "Yes. And I'm tired. And I'm hungry." Destiny continued to whine, taking the bag from me.

I then watched as she walked off, staring at my name on her back.

Destiny was wearing dark blue sweatpants and sports bra, of which her titties were nearly popping out of.

"You walked Lyric inside didn't you?" Destiny asked me, sitting her food down on the counter. "Yea, I walked her to her classroom." I stated.

"Classroom?" Destiny turned and looked at me. "Yea..." I looked around, confused. "She won't let me walk her past the front desk. So how you walk her to her classroom?" Destiny wondered.

"I always walk her there." I shrugged.

"Whatever." Destiny mumbled, looking away. I noticed Destiny had a small, uncontrollable pout on her face.

"What's wrong?" I walked up to her. "Nothing." she pushed me away. "Baby-" I started to say, but was cut off. "Cause Lyric doesn't like me how she used to. It's your fault." Destiny expressed.

"That's not true baby. Lyric loves you...the other night, when I slept in her room she told me that you tuck her in better. And you make better food. She even threatened to fight those people at your job that made you upset." I explained.

"Her badass always threatening somebody." Destiny chuckled quietly.

"She is, but I promise you're doing good. And there's a reason for Lyric wanting me to walk her to class, but I promise it has nothing to do with her loving you any less." I stated.

"Okay..." Destiny nodded a little.

Destiny proceeded to make her food. Meanwhile, I rolled up. A nice, fat blunt. Eventually I went outside to smoke and Destiny went back to the bedroom to eat and watch tv.
