I knock on Zayn's apartment door. I don't feel comfortable enough to just walk in, plus the door is locked anyways. I just got back from work and had to walk and take a bus. I really need to get a licence so I could drive the car I got when I first came to London.
Especially now that it's almost November and it's already really cold out. I'm from Colorado and I'm use to cold, but it doesn't really start getting freezing cold until late November. Also it snowed a lot back home and from I've learned here, it rarely snows in England.
The whole way here I couldn't get what Rose said out of my mind. I'm sure she just said all what stuff to get under my skin. But surely there has to be some truth behind it all.
Another thing that's been on my mind lately is Halloween. It's in two days and I have a feeling Zayn will have guest over or go over to someone else's party. My parents never let me or my siblings dress up and go trick or treating or even celebrate it. They said it was a silly holiday and we are more sophisticated than that.
I honestly think it's because they were always too busy working and didn't want to deal with us. I'm not really complaining though. I never was a huge a party person. So whenever I was invited to a Halloween party it was the perfect excuse.
Zayn finally opens the door wearing only sweatpants. His hair is disheveled and he is squinting his eyes. He clearly just woke up and I can't help but rake my eyes down his body quickly. I look back at him hoping he didn't notice, but the smirk on his face crushes my hope.
Zayn opens the door wider and I step in. He walks off right away seeming annoyed. I take off my coat and scarf, hanging them on the coat rack. I walk into the kitchen where Zayn walked off to. He is drinking straight out of the milk I scrunch my face up, a little bit disgusted.
How sanitary of him.
"How did you get here?" he asks and wipes his mouth before putting the milk back and shutting the fridge.
"I took the bus and walked," I answer and he frowns.
"I would have came and got you."
"I didn't want to be a bother," I tell him.
"That's ridiculous," he rolls his eyes.
"It's not that big of a deal," I shrug.
"Its cold out."
"I have a jacket," I says and he glares at me.
"Not the point," he says. "Call next time."
"Whatever," I shake my head. I really don't want to argue with Zayn right now.
"Oh, tonight we are going to dinner," he states and I raise an eyebrow at him.
"I'm busy." I tell him, annoyed.
He acts like I'm just going to do whatever he wants at a snap of a finger. Zayn has always been like this" but I thought he was getting better with his demanding demeanor. Which is clearly not the case.
"Then un-busy yourself," he tells me, irritation seeping through his tone.
I scoff, "I'm not just going to cancel plans I've had for a week just because you said to."
"What even are these plans?" he rolls his eyes and I scoff at how much he is acting like a seventeen year old girl.
"Hazel, Becca, El, Kayla, and I are having a movie night," I explain.
