Reputation's Perspective
"You better finish this by next Monday miss Greene." My boss slammed the paperwork onto his desk and walked away
Oh my fucking god. I am exhausted. I looked at the clock and it read "2:46" ive been working overtime and i didn't even realize
"Fuck" I muttered to myself reminding myself of my girlfriend at home, ive been neglecting her recently without even noticing, i always leave the house before she wakes up and i get home after she falls asleep
Just picturing her eating dinner alone, sleeping alone, i felt my heart drop down to my stomach
But i couldn't do anything about it either, my
Job had very strict needs and deadlines but i just had go pray that lover would understand and wouldn't leave me or someone else
I quickly pack up my stuff as fast as i could and left the office to get into my car
While i was driving home, thoughts of lover getting mad at me, snapping at me and leaving me played in different scenarios in my head
When i drove into the driveway, i took a deep breath and prepared myself for whatever was going to happen, even though i wasn't ever gonna be ready
When i walked in, the lights in the house was still turned on? Thats weird...usually lover would turn off the lights before going to bed
Shit, was she awake? Maybe she was gonna get mad at me, i grimaced at the thought
"Love?" I called out quietly to see if she replied, or maybe, she just forgot to turn of the lights
I dropped my bag by the door and looked in the living room and she wasnt there, hm, maybe she was asleep after all
Relieved, i went into the dining room to get something to eat but i immediately stopped at the doorway
Lover was wrapped up with a blanket at the dining table, asleep with her head rested on her arms and there were two untouched meals, one in-front of her and one in my usual spot
Was she waiting for me? I felt my tears brimming, threatening to fall
"my sweet girl" i whisper
I walk over to her side and gently tapped on her shoulder
"baby? im home" i kissed her forehead as she stirred awake and yawned
"reppy?" She said cutely while rubbing her wyes
"yes its me my love" i giggled
"helloo"she looked up at me like a puppy
"were you waiting for me?" I furrow my brows and gestured to the table and she nodded
"I wanted to have dinner together, then i guess i fell asleep" she shrugged and looked back at me
"Its so late baby why did you wait?" I combed through her delicate golden hair
"I missed you" she said and she hugged my waist and buried her face into my stomach
"i missed you too, im so so sorry i came home late its just that my boss was really being a bitch and the- the deadlines are so much and im scared that you'll leave me an-" i rushed out of my mouth, kinda panicked but she cut me off
"hey, stop that, i would never leave you, what are you talking about?" Lover asked with her brows furrowed
"I know what your work is like reppy, i understand that your schedule is hard to work around but im willing to do just that" lover flashed me a smile
"i love you so fucking much" i tackled her into a hug which she reciprocated
"anything for you my love" she connected our lips in a calm but loving way
"Lets eat the dinner you made us love, it looks absolutely delicious " i sat us back down at the table
