We stared, no, glared at eachother. I didn't even need a minute to recall who he is, I suppose he knew who I was too. Just cause Penny said, we sat down, opposite to eachother.
"Aaron McClair." I said in a business-like tone.
"Henry the loser." He imitated me.
"It's Henry Martin." I corrected him, knowing damn well he wasn't going to listen either way. I tried, I told myself he would be changed, but, he was still the same. An A-class jerk.
"It's an honor you still remember me." He said as if taunting me. Pfft. We're not in middle school anymore, asshole.
"How could I forget the one person who had nothing else to do other than pick on others for their own fun?" I voiced it sarcastically with a smirk to mock him.
He chuckled then grinned darkly. "After all this time, you come back to steal my girlfriend." His smile vanished in a second. "She might be stupid enough to believe you, but I am not. Stay away, or I will-"
"Stupid? The only person stupid here is you." I spat, not being able to handle him calling Hannah stupid.
He glared at me again. The audacity. I swear I'm about to throw hands if he continues to be the asshole he was in middle school. "And I have already told you. She's just my friend."
"Ah right." He rested his arms on the table. "Seems like someone finally got guts to talk back to me after years of being a fucking coward."
I bit back the urge to punch him, with the only reason being that he is her boyfriend. Or else, I can't guarantee he'll not bleed. With a sharp breath, I partly calmed myself down. "Yes, indeed."
"And." I continued sharply. "If you break her heart, I'll not think twice before breaking your neck."
He scoffed. "Not if I kill you with cold blood first." He mumbled softly.
We glared at eachother again. Out of seven billion people in the world, that idiot chose this guy. A complete asshole. What the hell is wrong with her brain? She doesn't want a new brain, she clearly needs it.
"Hey, we're back!" Penny's voice rang as I recieved a cold slap on my shoulder. I rubbed it while wincing. This girl is ruthless.
I turned around to see the two's arms filled with paper bags after their little shopping spree. They really took their merry time. "Sorry for being a little late, the designs were too stunning to not buy." Hannah's voice radiated Penny's energy.
"We're going home." Aaron stood up and harshly grabbed Hannah's arm, her enthusiasm fell. I wanted to pull his hand apart from hers, but...I can't.
"S-See you, girl friend." Penny waved her hands at her awkwardly.
"W-Wait, Aaron, I-I want to-" Hannah stuttered, he just grabbed her car keys from me and dragged her forcefully to her car. Seeing this from afar and not being able to do anything...I'm pathetic.
He drove off with her. My eyebrows were still wrinkled together and my lips twitched. "What the hell, is he the guy she's been with for two whole weeks?" I asked, a little- er no, a lot annoyed.
"Sadly, yes." Penny replied, sighing. "I tried to give her signs that she should break up, but she isn't getting it."
"Love makes people blind." I quoted. "And I hate that guy." I complained mindlessly.
She rolled her eyes. "What are you gonna say? 'You can't be with my childhood bully cause I hate him!' huh?" She teased me while trying to mimic me.
"I'm not wrong. There are alot of better guys than this asshole, even I can take care of her better than him." My tongue slipped. Shit.
