Sticky, the air was sticky and absolutely atrocious. If Gojo Satoru had to compare, it would be one of the worst feelings he had felt ever since releasing Neutral Limitless. Unnaturally, his senses forced themselves to be on high alert, far higher than letting down his barrier would usually entail. It was if enemies were all around him, surrounding every inch of the vicinity in which Gojo was within.
Whatever lurked in the seas, they were comparable to Cursed Spirits, perhaps even more dangerous. He didn't know exactly what they were, as the disgusting water completely blocked off his Six Eyes from getting a clearer view. Although he could see the exact population hidden beneath, he couldn't have a good gaze on what their body make-up was like.
Oh... the sudden urge to fire off a Hollow Purple into the sea, but Gojo Satoru wasn't somebody to be as stupid as that. Unless they jumped out of the sea, he wouldn't have any plans of attacking them any time soon. It wasn't just because the white haired man was unaware of their abilities, but also because he didn't know if any structures underwater were needed by the Sal Viento people to live.
Nor did he know if there were any structures that kept this Nomadic City fully functioning. Gojo didn't have a clear view of how these cities worked, having not really spent the time gazing at their wheels. But if he did, maybe the white haired man knew where to be precise in his attacks, so he could fend off enemies while not causing any trouble.
The structural integrity of these structures quite literally held up the lives of thousands, perhaps even more if the cities were large. In regards to Chernobog, he didn't have to put up any restraint when fighting in the Nomadic City, thanks to it already being abandoned and filled with enemies (barring his teammates), so Gojo wasn't guilty for letting loose.
In the case of Sal Viento, Gojo decided to lay down low for now, and follow as Skadi would want him to. Especially if they made an enemy out of Iberia for causing a ruckus, it would be a complete drag for them to break out of that scenario. Though, with how lacking this city seemed in law enforcement, the Sorcerer still didn't worry much.
Sal Viento, the Spanish words literally meaning "salty winds." The white haired man wondered if the people named it that on purpose for tongue-in-cheek purposes. Well, he could see why, considering they were close by a sea, and sea water is always salty. Bonus points for the name, seeing how the wind incessantly blew, even if it were a brief gust at times.
Perhaps the city would look astonishing if it were still in prim and proper condition. Then again, Gojo Satoru wasn't sure what a prim and proper standard was for this city, not really having a reference for what it was. Maybe he was giving it too much credit, and it didn't look much different from the salty and humid soon-to-be wasteland that this was.
There were many missions that required Gojo Satoru to examine an area and look for Cursed Spirits. He was familiar with these sorts of things, but the problem right now is... 'I can't sense Specter, or see her with the Six Eyes. Shark's either hidden somewhere deep, or there is an obstruction surrounding her.' Then there was also the third option, both those factors were already in place.
Specter should be easy to sense considering how much Originium was in her body, and Gojo was getting very used to sensing Originium and the energy signature it gave off. If he attempted to sense Skadi or that Gladiia lady, he would have a much more difficult time, considering their bodies effectively combatted Originium to an effective degree. Too bad for Specter she took too many for her body to properly filter.
Her body was in a chronostatic state of fighting off the infection with her strange cells, and the Originium fighting back by attempting to assimilate more of her body. A vicious cycle, one much like the infinite spinning of a wheel was what her condition was like. Despite being comparable to an everyday activity or event a human did to survive, it could also be called a ceaseless marathon in his eyes.
