"So~, Skadi!" Gojo had to choose his words carefully, seeing the downtrodden mood of the woman beside him. "What's that all about?" He gave up the moment he had opened his mouth though, a classic move from the best teacher in Jujutsu Tech. Ever. An indisputable notion that every student back then would say.

"...You still want to follow me?" Skadi had to turn to him with a dreary look, tired from all the events that had transpired last night. "We're in the middle of a wasteland," the woman knew that even if she were to spend too long without a water source, it may become a problem. Aside from that, Abyssal Hunters were vastly more powerful than the average human being, not just in terms of strength, but also survivability.

Even if they had a disadvantage in dry land in some aspects, especially when it came to the topic of keeping their skin moist.

"Eh, it doesn't matter," Gojo waved her off, he could simply survive via Cursed Energy for more than a month without food or water. Besides, if he needed to get back to civilization, he could move so fast that he would eventually reach landmarks of civilizations. "You're talkin' to the former Strongest Sorcerer, after all."

"I don't know the significance of that title," Skadi openly admitted while continuing through the desert, "but you put a lot of emphasis on it," the woman honestly didn't mind a bit of company when traveling through these blasted lands. The silence was a companion of hers even when working at her isolationary job back in Aegir, a sense of familiarity as one would with a kin. But having somebody to talk with wasn't much of a bother.

"Well, you probably won't have a full grasp of it, just like how I won't have a full grasp of you Abyssal Hunters, huh?" Gojo decided to make a comparison between the two at that very moment. "So what's the point of delving into trivial stuff like that?"

"It's not trivial," Skadi argued back, subconsciously wanting to know more about the man. His body structure was completely different from that of all other races on Terra, but still was the closest to what an Aegirian was. The capability to utilize an energy never seen before, whether it be on land or in the sea.

"We're getting off topic," if there's one thing Gojo Satoru was good at, it was deflecting. With how many off-handed threats he has made to slaughtering the higher-ups, it wasn't a surprise the man knew how to change subjects on a whim. "We've been stuck in this desert for quite some time now, are you sure we're on the right track?"

The space around them was sand, with only some walks of broken and withered shrubbery littering the wastes. No water could be seen despite the distance they had covered, stepping on the same coarse landscape that showed off just how desolate Terra was. It came to Gojo's mind why the world needed so many Nomadic Cities.

"The person we're finding," Skadi held her hand on the strap that held the sword at her waist, connecting to her shoulder. "He is an information broker," if there was somebody who she knew who could provide them with information or maps about nearly everything, it would be him.

"Seems like an interesting guy," Gojo placed his hands behind the back of his head while they continued making their way through. "I hope you know what you're doing, or where you're going..." especially with how many people with bad directions the Sorcerer had been with, it would be tragic if Skadi was one of them too.

The woman gave him a nod, turning her attention back to the path that they were traveling on. Well, there was no path in the first place, any progress of making a path in the first place would be invalidated by nature or raging Catastrophes. Therefore, everybody had virtually agreed that creating paths on these wastelands were worthless.

Skadi sent a discreet gaze to Gojo Satoru, wondering why he was so persistent on going to Sal Viento. It was a slip of the mouth, but the Abyssal Hunter had the white haired man know where Specter had been taken. Of course, she attempted to convince him to stay out of the matters, as it was cruelly dangerous for any land dweller, he simply opted to go by himself if. Feeling a bit hurt at his attitude, the Aegirian orca had to reconsider if she was actually being inconsiderate to the man.
