8. Her friends dont like you at first

Nothing against them but is just for the plot and at the end it be a happy ending

Y/N POV

Faye and I have been dating for 4 months now and is been the best 4 months of my life. I have known Faye for about 4 months before we became official for another 4 months. The way we met was a bit cliche as we met at a coffee shop that she was getting her drink there, while I was just on the computer doing my work as I had to email the work to my boss. And the funny thing was that whenever I have a crush or like a girl I usually pursue them but I was so into my work I didn't know that Faye was looking at me. I was wearing black jeans with a blouse trying to look a bit professional but also comfortable at the same time in case I bump into people. And she walked up to me to make a conversation and from there it blossomed to where we are now.

Right now we are on our way to meet Faye's friends as she wants to introduce me to them as I'm a bit nervous if they will like me or not. "Babe are you sure they know about me?" I ask Faye as I play with my fingers nervously. As they mean a lot to her and is the people she has worked with so I want to make a good impression.

"Is fine baby, they will love you and more when they see that I am happy to be in this relationship they will know. So don't worry too much about it" she said smiling driving to the restaurant we were going to eat at while left hand on the steering wheel, while her other hand is holding my hand to calm down my nervous. I love how attentive she is when it comes to me even when I don't ask for it she always makes sure I am ok.

I breath softly trying to be mentally prepared for when I meet them. I thought to wear casual which is black jeans and some light blue blouse with heels. While Faye was wearing a sexy woman suit but is black with a black top along with a belt. Once we pulled up she turn off the car and gets out while I grab my things as I was just about to open the door when she opens it. She stand there smiling and hold her hand to me while I grab it as I get out of the car.

"Thank you baby" I said smiling as she peck my lips softly and mutters your welcome after and she wipes my lips softly so it does not look smudged. "They will like you" she said as she held my hand as we head to the entrance of the restaurant. Once we got inside Faye told the waitress the table they told us to go to as we walk to the table and see Faye's friends.

When we get there I see Yoko (she is cute so I'll add her here) ,I see Pam, Engfa, and Charlotte. They were all good looking but I have my eyes on Faye as I only love her.

"Hey girls" Faye said smiling while they say hi back as they got up and hug Faye while I stood there awkwardly not wanting to say anything that is rude. "I want you guys to meet my girlfriend Y/N" she said smiling as she introduced me to them while I wave shyly. They smile but for some reason I felt like it was fake smiles.

We took our seats as they started to talk and catch up while I sit there listening looking at Faye happy which makes me happy. I did feel out of place and left out but since I am shy I did not make a conversation as I listen to all of them talk. Once I was hungry, I asked Faye to see if she was hungry, which she said yes then we all started to see the menu to see what to eat. Once the waitress gets here we started to order our food as we continue to catch up, while I sit there doing nothing looking around try not to make it seem like I am uncomfortable.

Few minutes later, the food gets brought in and before we started to eat, Faye told us that she was going to use the restroom then she got up and left us alone while I looked at the girls. They were giving me a look of judgmental and I knew that in there they might start the interrogation.

"What is your reason be with Faye because we want to hear from you" Charlotte asked while looking at me while the other three were staring at me intently, which made me nervous but I try to calm myself down before I can't answer theResponse. "Well the reason is because I genuinely love her, and I do hope to see a future together between her and I" I said truthfully while looking at them.
