King Aegon, Prince Leo—who was now 6 years of age, and Prince Lucerys were outside of the chamber. The King was pacing back and forward worrying for his wife and future baby. He heard her yells and the baby but then heard her yelling the second time. It was quiet for a few minutes before hearing another cry from a baby.
Why was it taking so long? Aegon was waiting for a long time. He was worried when one of the midwives came out and demanded the other Maester to come inside quickly the chamber room.
Leo clutched the side of Lucerys who was trying to comfort and whisper to his little friend telling him that his mother would be okay and he would be seeing his mother as soon they were done.
The doors opened wide and Aegon stopped and looked up to see Maester Larris. The Maester nodded his head at the King and Aegon quickly scrammed into the chamber trailing Leo and Lucerys including Ser Evian and Tyron.
Aegon walked more into the chamber and saw his wife lying down on the bed cradling not just one but two babies. Ms. Hollie saw his reaction and how happy he was and stepped to the side to let King Aegon be next to his wife. He sped over to his wife and his babies. Aegon immediately gave her multiple kisses on Eva's forehead. He was so glad that they were okay during the process of labour.
"Thank Gods. I was worried." He grabbed her hand rubbing and kissing the back of her soft hand.
"MOMMA!" Leo sprinted towards his mother and jumped on the bed. "Leo be careful." King Aegon told him, his stepson slowly and carefully went over to his mother. He sat right next to her and looked at the babies.
"Wow! Two babies." Leo looked at his new brother and sister. Luke was right behind the boy and also looked at the babies.
"They look exactly like you, Uncle Aegon" Luke stated to him. Eva smiled at his comment and it was ever true.
Eva looked down at her son and daughter in her arms. They were beautiful. Both of them had sliver baby hair just like their father and his green eyes.
"Have you decided on any names?" Aegon asked his wife.
"I did not want to give the children names without you." Eva didn't want to name her and his children without Aegon. It wouldn't be right for her to do that.
"Here, hold your son." Aegon was a little hesitant about holding his son. Honestly, he does not know how to hold a baby—he didn't get hold of Jaehaerys and Jaehaera when they were born.
The first was when Helaena gave birth to his twins and Aegon was a horrible father, there was no doubt. He was also four and ten years old when he became a father and he was irresponsible, he was still a kid with a child and Helaena. Aegon did not get to hold his son until the twins were both 1 year age.
