"Your Majesty, she's ready."

You froze abruptly upon hearing Namjoon, his Royal Advisor, speaking up from behind the rails. His voice caught the attention of Jimin's which brought his gaze to fix towards you in a flash. You could feel a lump form in your throat as he silently stared at you.

He didn't say a word, but kept his stern gaze fixed at you. The momentarily silence was slowly killing you, and you couldn't but wonder — what was he thinking about?

Was he admiring the view? You couldn't tell just from the look of his eyes. They were so stoic and impassive... Just so hard to read.

You felt the knot in your stomach once again, bringing you to an agitated state. You nervously bit your lower lip wanting to say something, however your mouth felt dry. The silence was definitely engulfing you to many unspeakable thoughts, but finally after what it felt like an eternity... Jimin cleared his throat.

"Suffice." He answered his voice being a bit hoarse as he uncomfortably tugged on his collar. Soon he peeled his gaze off of you, and reluctantly dragged himself towards the opening of the double doors.

You stared at him with mild confusion etched onto your face, and your brows would furrow for a brief moment. From that entire prolonging stare that was all he had to say? You had expected something, but perhaps it that was just false hope.

There was no way he'll be more sincere about it.

With an exasperated sigh leaving your lips, you too then followed him out the palace's walls and stepped foot into the carriage.

From minutes to finally hours — the entire ride was nothing more but awkward silence. Throughout the whole time you found yourself nervously fiddling with your fingers. The uneasiness that you felt was forever etched into your mind in regards of everything that happened.

Sure you were excited about experiencing your first banquet, but you couldn't ignore the lack of confidence you had for yourself. The amount of time you put in with dancing really defined your effort, and you knew there was a vast improvement from your first attempt.

However you still worried. What if you stepped on jimin's feet? What were the chances that you'll trip and fall? What will happen if you embarrassed him in front of all people?

Oh the unspeakable things he could do to you really frightened you, but these thoughts were quickly subsidized once the carriages movement came to a halt. You could hear the horses stopping their tracks, which brought your gaze to fix out at the door that was beginning to get opened.

Once you crawled out the carriage your eyes quickly observed around immediately spotting the many differences. The eastside Kingdom was bright more vibrant when it came to flowers. It was such a stark contrast to the plain monochromatic tones you'll usually see back at home.

You could hear Jimin stepping out of the carriage from behind. As you turned around his mesmerizing cold gaze met in contact with yours.

"Follow." Jimin spoke up as he shifted his body towards the palace's entrance. You nodded in silence and walked behind him.

From every step you could hear his heavy boots clanking onto the pebble flooring. His  burgeon cloack draping his shoulders would dance within the rhythm of his movements. Everything given from plain sight was very admirable.
