So I found this picture after I did the chapter and it's such a coincidence he is holding a McDonalds cup! (if you read the chapter you will understand!) I died and also look at that concentration face ehhhhhhhh
Anyway here's this chapter!
After my phone buzzed for the gazzilionth time that night/day, I finally rolled over to see what the fuss was all about. Mikey, Mikey, Mikey, Gerard, Mike - wait what?! It was a missed call, two hours ago and it was now 8.30 ON A SCHOOL MORNING. Oh shit balls, Mr McBrundle will not be happy about this..Gerard will have to wait until later.
After I leapt out of bed in a not so lady-like fashion and got ready for school, I swung the door shut and ran out the gate. I had made it to the end of the street when suddenly a horn beeped behind me. I turned to see Evan smirking at me, whilst rolling down the window of his small blue car.
"Didn't think you were the type to be late for school, Millie." he grinned and I rolled my eyes and carried on walking.
"I'm not, blame my stupid sleeping pattern for messing up." I refused to tell him I was awake most of the night because of the constant messages being sent from Mikey. Seriously, I just went home where was the emergency at nearly 10pm at night?
"Well are ya going to get in?" he asked impatiently. "I have to be at work in three and a half minutes." he said as he read his watch.
"Stranger danger!" I stopped walking and clambered into the littered tin shed, aka his car. He laughed and sped off down the quiet street.
"We've known each other our whole lives, including when you were still in nappies."
"Evan!" I slapped his arm playfully, my cheeks burning. His laugh erupted through the car causing me to smile down at my hands.
"We've had our fair share of embarrassment together, haven't we?" I nodded, still smiling.
"Like when you were five and you pissed all over the floor in McDonalds because you were scared of the clown." I laughed uncontrollably. Evan shifted uncomfortably in his seat.
"I fucking hate clowns." he muttered and pulled up outside my school. "There you go Willie, oops sorry Millie." he scoffed.
"Dick." I mouthed at him and walked towards the closed doors.
Mr McBrundle hadn't even noticed I was late because he was too busy meditating in his chair. The rest of the class were either asleep, making out, texting or aiming spit balls at the teachers head. I took my seat and noticed that both Bronty's and Billie's seat were empty. Where was the 'I'm not coming in today text?' Now it looks like I'm spending lunch with Frank and Ray, and possibly Mikey although he's not here ei- Whoops speak of the 'awkward first meet with the parents' host himself, Michael Way who has now arrived in a flustered, sweaty mess.
"We're both late it's fine." I whispered across the room. He nodded with a nervous smile. Then his eyes clouded and he turned away from me and started saying things, but there was no one next to him? "Mikey? Are you okay?" I scooted to the next seat, he was shaking and speaking in a low volume. I went to put my hands on his shoulders to calm him down, whatever was happening was frightening for both me and probably him.
"Mikey shh." I gently placed my hands on his shoulder.
"DON'T FUCKING TOUCH ME!" He yelled and pushed me off of him. Everyone turned and stared at us, including Mr McBrundle whose eyes were narrowed because of the sudden interruption. The music which was the sound of the sea continued to play in the now silent classroom. Mikey's chair screeched and he ran out of the room, closely followed by myself.
