"Did you have a dream of great tribulation?" Specter smiled ominously while calling out to the despondent Gojo Satoru. "I can see it in your eyes as clear as it would be under the night sky... the waves..." the shark lady pressed her hands together and interlocked her fingers into a prayer.
"...Did you see into my mind or something?" Gojo rubbed his forehead while recalling it. The memory of the dream replayed itself over and over in his head, like a looped video. Overall, the dream was akin to some sort of connection, that much he could assess from it.
"Hm~," Specter put on a thoughtful look, placing a finger under her lower lip. "Was it simply a lapse in my memory? I truly cannot tell," she shrugged with a playful expression, as if what she said earlier was meaningless.
"Ya' joking with me?" Gojo gave her an annoyed look and stretched his neck, "where'd Skadi go anyways?" He ignored the ramblings of the shark lady and focused on something else, the lack of Skadi sitting by Specter.
"Elsewhere," Specter replied, "perhaps she had heard the calling of the sea and migrated back, to home."
"Home, huh?" Gojo sat in a criss-cross position and pressed his elbows on his knees.
"Would you like to return home?" Her voice held some sort of mystique to it, all the while she leaned forward and met Gojo's eyes.
"Well~, there's probably nothing for me to return back to," Gojo shrugged, "but I'm not so sure if that's the case. Can't really tell if I can even go back." He was glad the woman was at least regaining some of her sanity.
"Won't you find a new one, then?" Specter smiled, "away from all of your worries, to wash them all down the stream of eternity..." her voice continued to drag on, "to be with the We Many."
"...Okay...?" Gojo had to reiterate what he knew about the woman, she was still being afflicted by whatever experiments she had undergone. "I'm sure you'll need to take your meds again," although he didn't outwardly show much care, he could tell her words weren't to be taken lightly.
"Hmph," Specter leaned backwards to her chair with a pout.
"Well, I've had enough rest," Gojo shifted on the bed and moved to the edge. Moving his body forward, he stood up right besides Specter. "I'm gonna take a shower," stretching his arms into the sky while yawning, he made his way towards his bathroom-
"May I join you?" Specter suddenly asked with an innocent smile. It was blunt and straight to the point, like a blade streaking through the air.
Gojo paused in steps, a surprised expression overtaking his carefree face. No, it was more accurate to say he looked flabbergasted, "you serious?" He pointed to himself, "haha~! When did you become so good at making jokes, huh?"
"Is something wrong?" Specter tilted her head in confusion, her blood red pupils holding a sense of wonder within. "I simply wish to feel the water with you."
"Go take a shower with Skadi or something," Gojo immediately lost all of his energy and tiredly grumbled out, "I like to take showers by myself, thank you very much." The white haired man wondered if he should spend more time using RCT on her.
"Hehe~," Specter started to laugh to herself, her voice flowing like a melody akin to the previous song she sang with Skadi.
"...Right, your singing was pretty good, by the way," Gojo off-handedly remarked while going to where his closet was. Opening it, he was greeted with his white haori, black t-shirt, and white martial arts pants. "Even if I fell asleep to it."
"Oh? Is that a compliment?" Specter finished laughing, small giggles coming out before she spoke, "pray tell, who sang better?"
"I dunno," Gojo shrugged, "but I do know I'd probably sing better than the both of you~," he turned back to give her a wink. If he truly put his mind to it, he wouldn't doubt he could sing just as well as them. However, the last time he ever did karaoke was years ago, back when he was with Suguru.
