Earlier
Queen Eva was up on her feet waddling in the hall with her loyal guard right behind her. After her intimate session with her husband, Aegon had to leave her alone in bed because there was an unexpected guest that showed up—it was potentially an alliance.
When King took his leave, she had decided she wanted to see her son. Her maids had told Eva that she shouldn't be on her feet as much and needed to be on bed rest. Queen did not listen to them and changed out of her nightgown into a baby blue silky loose dress, hanging off her shoulder were white pearls.
It was a very beautiful dress but the thing was it was inappropriate to wear a dress that simple could be a nightgown. She had no choice since her stomach was huge and did not want to use a corset and thought that she would be hurt by squishy with the corset. Aegon would not let this happen and ordered many silk dresses for her and promised whoever commented to the Queen that she dressed like whore that would be killed. No disrespect to his Queen.
Once she saw the doors to the Library where her son would be there attending to his lessons by Maester Larris. She quickly paced over to the doors and the Guards that were there opened the door for the Queen.
Eva walked inside the library and heard faint voices. She went over to the voices and it was getting louder as she walked over to them. She passed by the bookshelf and turned the corner then came the view of her son on the chair, working on his writing on the table. Maester looks at Leo's previous work and sees it was the Queen. He immediately got out of his chair and bowed to the Queen.
"Your Grace, you should be resting." Maester Larris pointed out to the Queen.
Leo paused on writing and quickly turned around to his mother standing up. "Momma!" Leo excitedly hopped off the chair and ran towards her, hugging her leg.
"My little knight, I missed you so much!" Eva said to her son. She placed her soft hand on the boy's fresh haircut he had gotten in the earlier on the moon.
"Maester has Leo been doing well?" Queen Eva asked the Maester, completely ignoring Larris's previous comment.
"We are on the writing course would you like to see them, your Grace?" She nodded, and both Leo and Eva walked over to the table.
Leo made sure to pull out a chair so his mother could sit down. The Queen smiled at her son and with a help by Ser Evian—he held out his arm and glanced over to the guard smiling at him and accepted the help. Eva placed her hand above his arm and sat down on the chair. Then Maester takes his seat.
"Prince Leo, why don't you keep on writing while I show the Queen your writing." Maester Larris tells him. Prince Leo nodded and walked over to his table that was a few feet away from them.
