For the next two weeks, Louis and Harry kept their conversations very short and to the point, which Louis was fine with, he didn't care about being friends with Harry. Right now he only cared about Maeve, Isla and Martin.

But today he had a doctor's appointment, so he was going to have to spend more time Harry, which he wasn't thrilled about, but at least Maeve was going to be with them, and she was basically a buffer.

When Louis arrived there with Maeve, Harry was already in the waiting room, and he let Maeve go to him while he went to check in with the receptionist.

"They said they're calling me in a few minutes" Louis and while he sat down next to Harry.

"Okay" Harry agreed.

Maeve was sitting on his lap, and she was cuddling with him, while Harry held her, and kissed her temple and forehead.

"So can we go back to being friends?" Louis suddenly asked.

"We are friends" Harry explained.

"Friends talk to each other" Louis pointed out.

"I'm sorry if I haven't talked to you enough" Harry told him "I want us to be okay, for the girls".

"I want that too" Louis nodded.

Harry gave him a small smile, and Louis felt things were better, but probably still not the same as before.

Louis was called in then, and the 3 of them went inside the doctors office together. He was 26 weeks pregnant at this point, so Isla looked huge when they saw her in the ultrasound screen.

"That's baby Isla" Harry pointed out to Maeve.

"Baby eye-ya" Maeve repeated.

"Yes, that's your sister" Harry told her.

"Is she doing no well?" Louis asked the doctor.

"Everything looks great" the doctor smiled.

They left the appointment feeling happy, and as they walked to Louis' car, Louis tried to make conversation with Harry, to really try to be friends with him.

"So uhm... I signed up for a birthing class"

"Yeah?

"Maeve's birth was very chaotic, even traumatic, mainly because of the 'I didn't know I was pregnant' part" Louis explained "So I want Isla's birth to be different, more peaceful at least".

"Makes sense" Harry nodded.

"And considering you're the one who's going to be at the birth, I was wondering if you would want to do the class with me?" Louis offered.

"Oh... uhm... yeah, I could do that" Harry agreed "When is it?".

"This Saturday, at 11 am" Louis replied.

"Yeah, okay, I can make it" Harry agreed.

"That's great" Louis smiled.

Harry helped put Maeve in her car seat, and Louis drove away, but he was going to be seeing Harry again tomorrow morning, as tomorrow was Tuesday, and Harry's week day with Maeve.

A few minutes after Maeve and Louis arrived home, Martin got there, bringing take out dinner, and the three of them ate it at the table, like a little family.

So far, Maeve seemed to like Martin, as she would talk to him and just over the weekend she had specifically asked him to play with her, which he had done happily.

After dinner, Louis took Maeve to the bathroom to give her a bath, and Martin cleaned up after dinner. Then Louis put Maeve to bed, which took a while because she kept wanting to get up, but she finally fell asleep.
