Nervous was the only way to describe the way I'm feeling right now. Bey invited Lo and I over to her mother house for their family dinner. I couldn't even drive that's how anxious I'm feeling.
" Girl calm your scary ass down. " Lo said laughing as she kept glancing between the road and me.
" I'm freaking out Lo. I know me and Bey are just friends right now so I shouldn't be so scared. But eventually I would like me and her to be together so this first impression right now means a lot. " I said looking at Lo trying to make my leg stop from bouncing up and down.
The car had came to a stop because we were at a red light. Lo reached for her purse and looked inside of it. She grabbed her weed pen and pulled it twice before handing it to me and pulled off once the light turned green.
I pulled the pen. I felt the smoke hit the back of my lungs and I exhaled. The second time I took a longer pull and exhaled. I sat the weed pen in the cup holder like we used to do in high school.
I sat back in the chair and closed my eyes and let it take over my body.
" Now relax, you have nothing to be worried about. You're a beautiful, loving, successful woman. Her family can't do nothing but approve of you. " Lo said as she finally parked her car in front of the Knowles home.
" I know that Lo. I just want to be enough. " I said sincerely looking at the home afraid of what's going to be on the other side of the door.
" You're more than enough, now let's go kill this first impression because I know Kelly fine ass is in here and this part of her family too "
We walked up to the front door and rung the door bell.

I heard the door bell rung and I immediately got up.
" Um who is that at the door? " Solo said looking around confused.
" Just wait and see " I said walking out the living room and walking with speed to the front door. I was eager to see Onika. I missed my muse.
I opened the door and there she stood there looking beautiful as ever with that sleek black hair falling down her back just the way I love it.
