Napalingon ako sa nagtatampisaw na leyon sa batis bago ibinalik ang buong atensyon sa ginagawa. Mas binilisan ko pa ito, I can't afford to waste any more time. The impact of the stone and the wooden stick being scraped together was scorching.

Napabuntong hininga tuloy ako nang maalala ito, that dress was so damn expensive pa naman. What a shame.

Naglakad ako sa kinaroroonan ni Zera, she's still there, playing at the water. I kneeled at the side of the clear river. A girl with a golden wavy hair stared at me with her deep brown eyes. It's as if I'm staring at a goddess, someone who is capable of making everyone fall down on their knees before her.

Ipinusod ko ang aking buhok, leaving some strands to freely cover the small portion on the side of my face. Itinuon kong muli ang aking paningin sa sariling repleksyon, I smiled, this time, genuinely.

Napabaling naman sa kanluran ang aking atensyon at hindi maiwasang hindi mapangiti sa nakita. Hindi rin papatalo sa dami ang hukbo ng aking ama, and I'm a bit proud for that.

I sneakily move out from my position, the lion followed from behind me. Mahihinang hakbang ang ginawa hanggang makalapit sa pwesto ng aking ama at naghanap agad ng matataguan.

I could see the calm face of my father, who happens to be instructing the soldiers with something. Kalmado itong nakikipag-usap sa hukbo, probably teaching some of his tactics and techniques to win the war. Sunod kong tiningnan ang aking kapatid, seryoso lamang itong nakikinig sa sinasabi ng aming ama.

Maingat kong inabot ang isang bagay na aking dala-dala. Two thin needles. I placed them on a wooden small tube and swiftly blew on it with full power.

Natamaan ng mga ito ang aking ama at kapatid, wala pang ilang segundo ay sabayang bumulagta ang dalawa. I mentally applauded myself.

The needles have a sleeping poison on it, ngunit hindi naman nakakamatay.

"Ang hari at ang prinsipe! Tawagin nyo ang mga Mediko, bilis!" Nagkaroon ng malaking komusyon ang hukbo dahil sa nangyari at nagkagulo ang lahat.

Everyone are on their guard, suspecting that one of the enemies are attacking silently.

Bumilang ako ng tatlo bago marahas na lumabas sa pinagtataguan. I quickly wore my worried expression, running towards my sleeping father and brother.

"Ama, Kuya! Anong nangyayari?" Mas ginalingan ko pa ang pag-akting, agarang tumabi ang mga sundalo upang bigyan ako ng madadaanan.

Lumuhod ako at niyakap ang aking ama. I roamed my teary eyes before shouting with a shaky voice. "W-where's the medic?! Somebody please call them immediately!"

Mabilis namang dumating ang tulong at sinabihan akong dadalhin na lang muna sa kampo ang aking ama at kapatid. Matapos makaalis ang mga ito ay ramdam ko ang panlulumo ng hukbo.

Because who will lead them now?

Kaya nama'y agaran kong nilapitan ang Heneral ng hukbo. Lumingon ito sa akin at saglit na natulala dahilan upang mangunot ang aking noo.

Come on dumbass, there's no time for appreciating my beauty here.

"What's the actual plan here, General?" Nabalik lamang ito sa reyalidad nang marinig ang tanong ko.

Tumikhim ito bago sumagot. "We'll send the troops to the east, we'll use that route to attack the faction of rebels, lead by Prince Drake, from behind."

"Then that means, we're joining hands with the Emperor?" Tanong ko dito. He just nodded kaya nama'y umarko ang aking kilay.

"Use that mouth of yours to answer, General." I sweetly said with a smile and I could almost see the sudden fear on his eyes.

"Y-yes, my lady. We'll protect the Empire, as stated by your father."

I clicked my tongue before looking at the soldiers behind. Taas noo akong naglakad papunta sa gitna na sya namang nakakuha sa atensyon ng lahat.

"Fix yourselves." I shortly said. They immediately followed, some arranged their armours, and some prepared their battle weapons.

"Fix your positions." Everyone moved in a synchronized way. Three steps and then they're all lined up.

"And prepare to die." Mahina kong saad, na sapat upang ako lang ang makarinig.

"We'll have a change of plans." Maotoridad kong saad, nangunot ang noo ng iba habang nagbulong-bulungan naman ang iba pa.

Bago pa man makarinig ng anumang katanungan o komento ay nagsalita ulit ako. "We'll directly attack the.." I slowly tapped my feet in a suspenseful manner before letting out a small smirk.

".. Emperor's troop." Napuno ng matinding ingay ang buong lugar, may umaalma at may nagrereklamo.

The General angrily walked towards me. "That was not the king's order, my lady! I'm sorry but we have to refuse your order!" Matigas nitong saad.

I let out a sarcastic scoff. "Is the King here?" Nang-uuyam kong saad.

"N-no, but that was what he-" before he could even drop a few more words, I professionally crossed our distance together and before he could even blink, napasaakin na ang hawak-hawak nyang espada at naitutok na ito sa kanya.

His eyes widened at my sudden movements. "Change of plans, didn't you hear me? One complaint coming from you and you're as good as dead." Malamig kong saad dito, wala na syang nagawa pa kung hindi ay tumango kaya nama'y napangiti ako.

Bumalik ako sa harapan ng mga hindi nakagalaw na sundalo. All are shocked, who wouldn't be? The sweet and gentle princess just pointed a sword at their respected General.

"Everyone will be at my command, refuse and you'll die." Ang nakakatakot kong tinig ang bumalot sa buong lugar.

"Now, prepare for a war. Heavens will cry blood, and so are we. EVERYONE, SHATTER THE EMPIRE'S TROOPS AT SIGHT, NO MAN WILL RECEIVE OUR MERCY!" Dumagundong ang aking boses.

I closed my eyes, and by the time that I opened it, all I heard was the brave shouts of my soldier, running forward to attack.
