Time is a precious thing. This is something I learned a long time ago. Time is all we have on this earth, and it is slowly ticking by with each second wasted by hate, war, and arguments. Time is what makes the world go round. Time, I learned, has all the power. It decides our fate, our decisions. It decides whether we live or die. In that split second, someone new is brought into the world, but at the same time, someone old is dying in order to make room for that new person. It’s hard not knowing what fate time will bring you. Time is an unpredictable thing, you can be here today and then gone the next, but that is the beauty of time. Our time on this earth is short, even though it does not seem like it. You never know what moment will be your last. In this short lifetime, we have to pact in everything we can. Spend time with our families; spend time with friends, because you never know when you will see them again. Be spontaneous, take a risk, and be courageous. Time is both precious and rare, and with each moment we waste, time is slowly fleeting, taking away what we hold dear. I know the feeling of running out of time; it’s scary not knowing what moment you will take your last breath. I also know the feeling of gaining time, and realizing how short life is. You’ve heard of children dying, and you cry out to God asking him why he had to take away a child’s life before the child even had a chance to live their life. I learned that God takes people away from us for a reason. He hates seeing us suffer and grieve for the loss of a loved one, but what we fail to see is the beauty of death. Death is a part of life; it signals our time has come to an end. Make the most of the time you have left, because what moments you waste of the precious time you do have, you can’t get it back.
