Charlotte's heart raced as she replayed the last few hours in her mind. The man of her dreams had knelt before her, his eyes full of love, and asked the question she had never expected. It felt like something distant, almost unreal, but now it was happening. She could hardly believe the words he had spoken. She was a girl lost in the depths of love, so consumed by it that she forgot the fate that was approaching.

Emmett and Charlotte walked back toward the house, hand in hand, as Charlotte beamed with a smile so wide it seemed it might stay that way for a while. Of course, every Cullen already knew what he was going to ask her, and they thought it was about time that he got down on one knee.

Charlotte wrapped her free hand around his forearm as they continued walking, laughing together. She couldn't get enough of him at that moment, her mind swirling with thoughts of the wedding, of becoming Mrs Cullen.

"I want something small," Charlotte started, her tone turning serious. She didn't need an extravagant wedding or to spend thousands on every little detail. "Just friends, family," she added, her eyes meeting Emmett's with a steady gaze.

"You sure?" Emmett asked, raising an eyebrow at her. "I want to go all out for my future wife," his voice deepened as they came to a stop. He gripped her waist firmly and pulled her closer to him. Her chest rose and fell against his as she gazed up at the man she loved so deeply, her heart racing wildly.

"Yes," she answered softly, holding her ground. Emmett gave her a playful grin before lowering his head.

"Alice won't be happy," he teased. Emmett's lips brushed against hers with a softness that made her heart flutter, the teasing words fading away as the moment deepened. His hand slipped to the small of her back, pulling her even closer as the kiss became more intense, filled with unspoken promises and raw emotion. Charlotte melted into him, her fingers threading through his hair. The world around them seemed to disappear, leaving only the two of them, locked in a kiss that was both tender and electrifying.

Emmett reluctantly broke the kiss, though neither of them wanted it to end. He then shifted his attention to the front door of the Cullen house, prompting Charlotte to follow his gaze. There, in the doorway, spilling out to greet them.

"Congratulations," Esme said, being the first to approach as she wrapped Charlotte in a warm, motherly hug. Carlisle followed, offering a firm handshake to his son, his pride evident in his expression.

"Thank you," Charlotte replied with a bright smile as they pulled apart. Just then, Alice bounded over and enveloped Charlotte in a tight hug.

"We're going to be sisters!" she exclaimed, prompting laughter from everyone. Charlotte found it sweet; she was excited to experience what it was like to have another sister. Bella had always felt like one to her.

Rosalie stepped forward, a playful smirk on her face. "Just remember, sisterhood comes with its own set of rules," she teased, her tone lighthearted but with a hint of seriousness. "I expect you to keep up with my fashion advice."
