▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
King Aegon was in the council room, standing near the glass window door watching over his Realm. He was wearing his crown and wore a golden knee-length linen, with a dragon signifying his dragon; Sunfyre that was stitched in gold. It was gifted by his sister.
He kept on tapping his foot on the ground, nervous about meeting the Lord Stark again. This was not the first time seeing the Stark family. He was there for his wedding celebration to Helaena and congratulated him. He took a deep breath, the maids that were inside standing on the side of the walls and could hear the King's shaking breath.
The doors opened revealing Cregan Stark walking into the room. Aegon had not yet turned his body around to the Stark's attention. Lord Stark saw a figure standing near the glass door. He couldn't see that much, he only saw the figure and sunlight blocking the hair sight of the King.
Cregan began walking towards the King as he was walking the sun's moves revealed his sliver hair, clearly a Targaryen. He paused on his walk and was confused as to why there was a Targaryen bloodline far away from home. Might it be a Targaryen Bastard? Cregan thought to himself, Aegon heard the footsteps stop.
"May me and Lord Stark have the room?" Aegon tells the maids and the guards. They obeyed and went out of the council room. The King Guards shuts the door behind them.
Lord Stark walks towards Aegon and he hears footsteps coming towards him. The King slowly turned and Cregan's eyes widened then paused his walk and saw it was Aegon II Targaryen. The Usurper King of the iron of the throne. Why wasn't he in Kings Landing, protecting his Realm? All these thoughts were running through the Stark's mind.
Aegon placed his hands on the handles and pushed the glass door open wide, stepping out onto the balcony with the hope that Cregan would follow behind. Lord Stark walked towards King Aegon, he stood right beside him, unsure of what to say, but he couldn't help but admire the beauty of Stoneston.
"Did the Targaryen send you?" Aegon went straight to the point, eager to know. Cregan turned his head towards Aegon but the King had not made contact with him.
"No," Cregan answered Aegon. The King was relieved from the thought of his family.
"Why are you here?" Aegon asked the Lord Stark. "We heard about this Realm from a northern traveler from Winterfell and talked about Stoneston. Telling me and the others how this place cared about the folks. I thought it would be a good alliance." Cregan responded to King Aegon.
"How would I know you won't give away where I am." Aegon finally turned his head to the side and looked at Cregan.
"Does your family not know?" He asked the King and shook his head, letting them know that Eva did not know.
"And my Queen does not know my past and thinks I was commoner. Then we got married days after meeting each other. A falsely claimed King came and I killed him and they all crowned me King that day. This is the first time telling someone, I trust you kept it to yourself and let you men know." Aegon stated to Cregan and nodded in agreement.
The doors opened alerting the lord and the King that someone had entered upon them. Aegon and Cregan headed back inside and saw who entered the room. The Lord was shocked to see Lucerys Velaryon breathing and alive, he was told by Queen Rhaenyra herself that he was dead.
"Lord Stark? Aegon have they found us already? I don't want to leave." Luke grew up in a panic, he didn't want to go, he loved Stoneston and wanted to be close to Eva and his new friend, Leo.
"No. He's not going to tell them. Right Cregan?" The King asked Lord Stark. He snapped out and shook his hand.
"I swear I won't. But it's shocking." Cregan spoke and Luke scrunched his eyebrows together. "What is shocking, Lord?" Luke questioned him.
"We were told by Queen Rhaenyra that you were dead." He answered to Luke. "What?" Aegon and the boy himself were shocked as well.
"Why would mother say that? I wrote her a letter in fully in High Valyrian, I signed myself and told I was still alive." Luke had explained to Cregan Stark. King Aegon did not agree to this decision but his Queen did.
It was for the best because she did not his nephew and his family to be at war. Eva did not know the consequences it may cause because Aegon had not told her. Not told her that he was a Prince before they became King and Queen.
Then the door busted open and Ser Tyron and Ser Evian came rushing inside the council room. They were both out of breaths from running.
"What is it? Speak now!" Aegon demanded the Guards.
"It's the Queen," He smacks his lips together and controls his breathing. "She's in labor." He finally says.
King Aegon received word that his beloved Queen-wife was in labor, and a surge of urgency propelled him from the room. His heart raced as he charged up the grand staircase, the echo of his hurried footsteps mingling with the clatter of armor from the guards in hot pursuit. Each powerful stride reflected his determination; he was resolved not to miss the moment when their child would enter the world.
