It's been two long years since everything settled down, and here I am, sitting in my office with Rakshit, scanning every camera feed and every possible clue that might lead us to her-my Little Swan. Nandini was kidnapped, and angry doesn't even begin to describe how I feel. My blood boils with each passing second, and the worst part? I can't use my powers to find her.

She made sure of that.

The locket around her neck was designed to shield her from my powers-a decision she made during one of our rare but fiery arguments. She was tired of me always using my abilities to tease her, to show up uninvited when she wanted her space. After one particularly heated exchange, she made me promise to create that locket, saying if I didn't, she'd never forgive me, and worse, she wouldn't talk to me. I had no choice but to give in, though it killed me to do it. Now, that same locket was the reason I couldn't find her, and it was tearing me apart.

Rakshit was pacing around the room, just as worried and furious as I was. We couldn't figure out how it had happened-how she could've been taken despite the tight security and our advanced systems. It was almost as if someone on the inside had planned this. I could feel the tension building inside me, making my hands shake with frustration. I rose from my throne-like chair, striding over to the large glass window that overlooked the city. I tried, yet again, to reach out with my powers.

The red mist appeared for just a few seconds before vanishing again. No matter how hard I tried, the locket's barrier wouldn't let me sense her.

I groaned in frustration, my fists clenched.

Rakshit leaned back against the desk, arms crossed, watching me with a smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth. "Still can't find her, huh?" he said, clearly enjoying my struggle. "Man, I told you not to give her that locket. Now look where you are, the great Yashwardhan Singhania, trapped like a mere mortal. Can't even use his powers to find his woman."

I shot him a glare. "You think this is funny, Rakshit? If you were in my position, you'd be losing it."

He shrugged. "Oh, I'm sure I would be. But I also wouldn't have made such a dumb deal in the first place. I mean, you're practically a god with your powers, but you handed her the one thing that could cut you off from using them. Smooth move, Yash."

I growled, running a hand through my hair in frustration. "I didn't have a choice. You know how she gets when she's angry. It was either make the locket or risk never hearing her sweet voice again."

Rakshit chuckled. "Yeah, because you're so whipped."

I turned to him, my eyes narrowing. "I swear, Rakshit, if you keep this up, I might just unleash whatever powers I have left on you."

Rakshit raised his hands in surrender, though his grin never faded. "Okay, okay, chill out. We'll find her. We always do. Besides, who knows? Maybe she's just playing hard to get again. You know she loves messing with you."
