"So... We're not gonna help prepare for the party?" Gojo looked at the disappointed Blaze with a confused expression.
"Uh... Yeah, so all the spots are taken for volunteers," Blaze's cat ears were flattened, Rosmontis' own ears seemed to follow the black haired Feline's movement.
Apparently, from what Gojo knew, the party was going to be held in the mess hall. Right now, it was in the process of being renovated for such occasions, bringing in foods and decorations.
Gojo Satoru wasn't much of a party person, unless it was with people he knew (then he'd crash it anyday), doing one with... Quite a lot of strangers now that he thought about it; something he wasn't too excited about.
But then again, Rhodes Island would probably find some way to surprise him. It already had done that job many times before, basically holding a small private army, a woman who seemed to have some sort of leviathan in her? And a bunny girl he could only describe as a literal Demon King.
'Wow Yuji-chan... Those isekai mangas must've been crazy, huh?' Personally, Gojo had only grown up with Dragon Ball and other stuff like that.
Was all 'isekais' like this? Getting sent into the most bizarre world one can think of?
Really, he missed listening to Yuji rambling on about his hobbies and such. Especially manga if it weren't already obvious, seeing how the genres evolved overtime...
'Ah... Good times,' Gojo wasn't one to reminisce about the past-, wait no, actually; he definitely was one.
Yuji, Nobara, Megumi, teaching them about Jujutsu History, that subject seemed to bring out the most interest in them.
A warm scene painted itself in his mind, maybe he had taken those moments for granted? Would it ever be something he could replicate with his lifetime?
But of course, such a life wasn't fitting for a tool-
"Gojo!" A voice came out, bringing Gojo out of his thoughts.
"Did I miss something?" The white haired man turned to the raised voice, being met with a slightly concerned look.
Blaze was the one who alerted him, her hand pressing against his Neutral Limitless. "Ah, I was trying to call out to you, but you didn't respond..."
"Oh~, that's my bad then," Gojo slightly felt bad, 'I'm getting distracted a lot recently... I shouldn't do that if I don't wanna get sneaked by another Toji.'
"I never understood actually..." Blaze kept touching the barrier, a curious look in her eyes, "how does this barrier even work?"
Rosmontis looked on with confusion, "you... Have a barrier?" She was starting to wonder if her memory problems made her forget that Gojo had one.
"To answer Blaze's question, it's pretty complicated, and yeah, I have a barrier," Gojo answered both of them.
"I mean, I wouldn't mind an explanation," Blaze retracted her hand, placing her hands on her hips.
Rosmontis in particular wondered why the white haired man hadn't used it against Patriot, perhaps because it would shatter easily?
"Well, I guess I'll explain it as I always have~," Gojo took a few steps backwards, forming a triangle with Blaze to his left and Rosmontis to his right. "Let's say... Do you know the concept of infinity?"
"Yeah, it's a concept, right?" Blaze answered, turning to Rosmontis.
The white haired Feline nodded in response, "endlessly high number?"
