So maybe it was only your curiosity that had gotten you in such a position but at the moment, Loki stood no more than a few steps away from you with a very angry expression.

"Darling," he tried to say through clenched teeth, his eye twitching. "I was asking you a question."

"I plead the fifth!" you shout, throwing your hand up as Peter did one time with Tony. Tony sighed and backed off after that back then. You just needed to push Loki a little closer to the edge. Just not close enough that he snapped.

"Nice try, but you aren't even half-human," Loki smirked. You remained silent, taking your plea as seriously as possible. "And this isn't a police investigation, I'm your soulmate!" Loki yelled, throwing his hands into the air.

You just gave him an innocent stare, trickling in some fear for good measure as Loki approached. You took your few planned steps back, bracing yourself. It was now or never, Thor.

That's right, this was your first prank. And by Tony's book that meant it had to be a good one. You hadn't even heard of the term when they brought up the fact that it was April Fool's Day, a day meant for pranks. They had to explain everything to you and by then, you were all in.

How can I get him to step just the slightest bit closer? you ask yourself. He was almost in place, and you were supposed to beep the small watch Tony gave you as a signal.

Loki suddenly went still. He quirked a mischievous smile, spinning halfway around as if sensing something. "Oh you cheeky little thing," he commented, turning back to you. Now you were afraid, had he figured you out?

Loki took one more step, almost closing the gap between the two of you before you beeped your watch. Thor, right on cue, sent a massive lightning bolt directly to the spot you were standing, striking the God of Mischief himself and frizzing his hair up with static electricity. Before the god could come to again, you took a picture with your newly gifted phone. Again, from Tony.

"Got him!" you texted to Tony along with the photo. He sent a party emoji back as you watched Loki regain himself.

"I hate you, brother!" Loki shouted into the sky. "And you!" he rounded on you. You yelped. There was no escape but down.

"Now hold on, Loki!" you said, your hand out in front of you as you backed to the edge. "I'm sorry!"

"You stole my hair gel, and then led me out here to get electrocuted by my brother? This is betrayal," Loki says with a playful grin. If anything he looked like the devil himself but you weren't sure Loki was aware you could fly as he strode toward you.
