When you woke up, Natasha slowly released you as you sat up on the bed.
"Feelin' any better cutie?" she asked you.
You gave her a small smile. "A little."
"Alright, well take it easy today, we can train tomorrow, just make sure you get a bit of exercise in today that isn't flying," she said while looking at you pointedly.
"Okay," you agreed, your face returning to your blank expression. Though deep inside, you could feel a little bit of warmth at her caring nature.
She got up and kissed your hair before leaving the room. You cringed and went to put on an athletic long-sleeve and some black sweatpants, exiting the room with sneakers; Tony's unforgotten elevator rule.

You were walking downstairs, going outside for a short run, when you passed by a room and heard yelling. Pressing your ear to the door you could listen to Tony and the conversation he was having over the phone.
"Give her more time!" he told someone.
"She's had enough time, we want her on the field," the voice retorted.
"We just discovered she was part of HYDRA, none of us have processed it yet," Tony spoke rapidly. You could sense his frustration.
"If she's ex-HYDRA, she'll be perfect for missions. She already knows how to fight."
"Yes, but not how to control herself! She doesn't remember her HYDRA days!" Tony tried to reason.
The more you listened the more Tony was winning the argument. Maybe you did have more time after all. More time to get rid of the voice in your head. More time to learn about Earth. More time to learn about your soulmates. More time to remember.
You jolted as the door was pulled open from the other side, Tony catching you in the act of eavesdropping. You stood up straight, expressionless.
"Were you listening?" Tony asked with a playful look.
"Uh- I heard yelling," you said. He laughed and patted your head.
"Well, sweetheart, I just earned you a few more weeks of vacation," Tony told you. You raised your eyebrows in surprise. "You're welcome!" he called to you as he strolled off down the hallway, going in the opposite direction you were. You called out a weak thank you before continuing to the elevators.
