Another day had begun, it was now morning, and Johnny Lawrence woke up to his alarm clock. He then turned the alarm clock off and took a sip of Coors Banquet beer but then spat it out. He then drank the rest of the bottle. Even though he was now a washed-up degenerate, one of his karate trophies still had value to him, so he kept it up to this day. He then walked to the kitchen where he saw his two daughters, Julia Lawrence and Katie Lawrence, sitting at the table, waiting patiently for breakfast. Johnny started frying ham and eggs on the stove. On the refrigerator was a picture of a younger Robby Keene that read "2010 Champs!". Robby Keene was Julia and Katie's brother and Johnny's estranged son, and it was very rare for Johnny to see him, though Julia and Katie would use their phones to give him the occasional phone call. Johnny then sat at the table with his breakfast and squirted ketchup on it, before giving some to his daughters, and then turned on the TV to watch Iron Eagle, his favorite movie.

After breakfast, Julia, Katie, and Johnny went outside the apartment to take out the trash, when a teenage boy who was their new neighbor saw them. "Hey, I'm Miguel. My family and I just moved into 109." Miguel greeted them. Katie knew that he would be joining her in West Valley High School this year.

"Great, more immigrants." Johnny complained.

"Actually, we're from Riverside." Miguel corrected Johnny.

"But anyways, I was just wondering if you were having trouble with your water pressure, 'cause I know our sink's being a little weird right now and... Oh, bottles go in the blue bin." Miguel told Johnny. When Katie heard this, she grabbed the garbage bag full of bottles and threw it in the blue bin.

"Listen, Menudo, we've lived in this shithole for over 10 years. The pipe's don't work. The fountain's full of piss. And the only good thing about being here is I don't have to talk to anybody. So nice knowing you." Johnny quipped.

"Okay, well... have a nice day, I guess." Miguel said, and Johnny went into his red 1991 Pontiac Firebird, closed the door, and drove off. Katie then got into her yellow 2017 Chevrolet Camaro that Joey Gouldman, her crush, bought for her. She liked it so much because it looked like Bumblebee, her favorite Transformers character, though it couldn't transform, of course. Johnny, however, didn't like it since the car was bought from LaRusso Auto Group, a car dealership ran by Daniel LaRusso, his arch-enemy. Katie used her car keys to unlock the door and put it in her pocket. Katie was now sitting on the driver's seat, and Julia was sitting on the passenger seat. They closed the doors, and Katie used her car keys to lock them and turned on the ignition and drove off, following Johnny. They felt bad for him since customers would sometimes treat him like shit on his job, so they decided to come with him.

Johnny and Katie were now driving in town in their cars, though Julia was sitting next to Katie, and when they stopped at a red light, they noticed a billboard advertising LaRusso Auto Group. "You gotta be kidding me. Another one." Johnny said as he saw the billboard. When Katie and Julia saw it, they simply shrugged as if they saw something that was a usual occurrence. They knew why Johnny was enemies with Daniel, but they didn't understand why he still needed to have a grudge against him for many years. Suddenly, the light turned green, though Johnny, Katie, and Julia put on sunglasses before driving off, with Katie following suit by driving behind him.

When Katie and Johnny suddenly pulled over, he noticed a blond woman with a ponytail doing yoga. Johnny took the sunglasses and put them on his head and greeted the woman, but she ran off when she saw him.

Later, Johnny was cleaning gutters at a house. He was on a ladder, and Julia and Katie were standing at the bottom to make sure he didn't fall. At one point, Johnny picked up a dead rat and put in the garbage bag full of what Johnny got from the gutter. "Ugh. Sick." Johnny groaned. Suddenly, two kids showed up and shot water at Johnny with squirt guns. "Hey!" Johnny yelled. "Leave him alone, you hoodlums!" Katie yelled. Johnny then slightly slipped down on the ladder. After that, Johnny, Katie, and Julia drove to another house. All three of them wore goggles and rubber gloves. Johnny tried to fix a fuse box, but he accidentally caused sparks to go off, causing a power outage in the house.
