"Domain Expansion: Deadly Sentencing."
The Deathless Black Snake watched as the scene around her turned into... A courtroom?
Guillotines surrounded them, painting a grim scenery of death.
Their blade had been slicing toward the well-dressed man, before it completely halted, as if denying them the blood they had wished to spill.
The flames gathered around their weapon had ceased, the heat which burned away the oxygen had ceased to exist.
"W-what..?" Ch'en let out a low breath, looking around frantically, Chi Xiao... Chi Xiao had ceased its usage, not emitting the red glow it had before.
"Mr. Higuruma..." Amiya found that she couldn't swing her blade either, but was grateful that she could breathe and speak again.
Higuruma stared at The Deathless Black Snake in the eyes, a daunting expression that showed no fear, "violence is prohibited in my Domain."
With those words, a black Shikigami, its eyes stitched shut appeared behind him, the place where its arms were supposed to be had been replaced with scales.
It looked like it came straight out of a horror movie, a feeling as if it encompassed all laws of the world itself lingered upon it.
"Kashchey is under suspicion for committing treason and murder against Ursus and its citizens within the confines of Chernobog city on January 3, 1097, while possessing the body of Talulah Artorius."
The booming voice of the uncanny being echoed across the room, giving off a sense of dread to all residents aside from the caster himself.
"What is this..? Higuruma!" Ch'en was finding this place extremely confusing, first, no violence? How did it even control that?
The Deathless Black Snake narrowed their eyes in contempt, finding themselves behind a podium separating them from the judge.
"Judgeman knows everything about what the individuals have done while in this Domain... But I myself do not know them. The verdict will only be decided on our own claims," Higuruma calmly spoke out.
The three residents looked confused, but Higuruma continued on, pulling an envelope within his hands.
"However, this evidence I have been given is the single exception," he brought it upwards, displaying it for all to see.
Amiya stared on in silence, while Ch'en had crossed her arms, deciding to let this man's... Plan go through.
"Make your case, Kashchey, do you deny the statement made by Judgeman?" Higuruma narrowed his eyes towards the Ageless. "You have three options, denial, confession, and silence. False statements go under denial."
"Oh? So I can freely lie?" The Deathless Black Snake spoke up, a low glare in their eyes.
"The world wouldn't need trials... if everybody told the truth, now would they?" Higuruma stated, lowering his head, but kept his gaze fixed.
Ch'en glanced between the lawyer and her... Sister's possessed body. 'Will this really work? To bring her back...? Higuruma never explained this ability to me or Amiya... Damn it.' She could only assume what he was planning.
"Hmph," Kaschey breathed through Talulah's body, deliberating over their case...
"Be quick, Judgeman isn't very patient," Higuruma said, hoping it would make them rush whatever statement they were about to make.
