One week later
"Yeah." Aria smiled. "That sounds perfect. Ok, I'll see you both at two."
She ended the call, setting her phone down beside her. She slowly got out of bed, and opened the curtains. Spring was her favorite season. She loved everything about it. Especially picnics at the park. And today was a perfect day for one. Ezra had invited her to join them at the park for lunch.
It was April, so both Ezra and Olivia were on Spring break, and she was sure that Hanna wouldn't mind if she missed work. Monday's weren't very busy anyways. Noticing she still had four hours until two, she hopped into the shower.
Thirty minutes later, she was sitting on the couch, bowl of Fruity Pebbles in hand, as she watched some random cartoon show on TV. Before she knew it, she heard a knock on the door.
"Hi Mommy." Olivia's cheery voice greeted her.
"Morning Livey." She took her in her arms. "How are you, Princess?"
"I'm great." She smiled.
"Come in." Aria told Ezra, stepping aside.
Aria kissed her cheek, before setting her back down.
"Hey." Ezra smiled.
He leant forward, giving her cheek a soft kiss. She blushed, the simple kiss, making butterflies swarm inside of her.
"U-um do you want coffee?" She asked, once he was seated.
As Aria was filling up the two mugs with coffee, Olivia came up beside her.
"Mommy, can I get some juice from the fridge?"
"Honey, how many times do I have to tell you? You don't need to ask me, this is your house too."
"Ok, Mommy." She replied, before running off to the fridge.
"Here." Aria handed Ezra the steamy mug.
Ten minutes later, all three headed out the door.
"Livs, can you take out the grapes from the basket?" Ezra asked.
She gave him a nod.
"So, what's on the menu?" Aria asked.
"Turkey and cheese for us, and a hummus sandwich for you." He smiled.
"With cranberry juice." Olivia added.
Pretty soon, they were all laughing and giggling as they ate their lunch. It'd become such a habit for them to spend almost everyday together. Whether it was going shopping, the park, or just watching a movie. Olivia enjoyed this more than anyone. She finally could spend her days with both her parents. She was so young she didn't notice the occasional discomfort her parents felt. All she cared about, was that she had both her Mommy and Daddy now.
"Daddy?" Olivia asked.
"How come we've never came to this park?"
"Um, I didn't know about it." He lied.
Truth was, he'd never gone back to that park, because it was their park. and when Aria was gone, it was too painful to go anywhere near it.
"Oh." She shrugged. "I like it."
"Me too." Ezra smiled.
Once they'd finished eating, they laid across the picnic blanket, Olivia between them, and soon, all three fell asleep.
