What's not enough, is what has been,
For a hungry mouth, fueled on sin,
Greedy and all-powerful,
You liken yourself to a God.
But you're not.
Little ol' Marry,
The vessel of songs,
History vast and powerful, in her head.
They don't walk away,
Because "Basically... Run!"
Is the motto of the day,
Past and present, a ring to save,
She sings the great God to sleep,
While the Doctor gives his memories.
Take mine,
You have it all!
Because there's no time,
No space,
Just him.
'Tis not enouh for that greedy face,
So Clara comes to save the day.
The most important leaf in human history,
Of times unseen, of her mothers' dreams.
They have saved the day,
And saw something awesome,
Her mothers' ring, safely returned,
Clara leaves, for another turn.
Yet he is still intrigued,
This girl twice dead,
She's not possible!

I know this is a little late, but I still wanted to write a poem, so here we have the poem for the Rings of Akhaten!
