Rosmontis, Amiya, and FrostNova had reunited with the Shieldguards of Patriot, fended off by a large wave of Reunion white masks.
A Rhodes Island Guard who had joined Reunion after hearing Patriot's cause was also there, doing his best to combat off the forces with the group. Even if he was conflicted with the great man's death, the Guard was willing to fight to preserve the true ideals of Reunion in helping the infected.
They had also run into W, much to Guard's chagrin, since she was the one who had killed Scout.
But after a brief moment of arguing, accusations, and explanations, particularly on W's involvement with the Chernobog takeover, the woman departed to somewhere that the group was not aware of.
The Rhodes Islanders felt as if it wasn't the last time they'd see the Sarkaz woman, but they continued onwards to their objective. One that was being blocked by a large mass of Reunion soldiers bearing their weapons against them.
Thus, the battle to reach the Control Tower where Talulah was manipulating the movement of Chernobog was fully set in motion.
Rosmontis spread her arms as the four large weapons swirled around her, striking and stabbing at the crowd. Around the girl, the Shieldguards protected her from all sides, leaving no openings for arts or crossbow bolts to reach her.
Ever since Alexei departed to gather up more members from Reunion that supported Patriot's cause, there had been a civil war between its members.
Those who still believed in Talulah were now against those who were with Patriot, a clash of beliefs and confusion became the scene of chaos that enveloped Chernobog.
FrostNova pressed her feet on the ground, freezing it into a slippery mass that their enemies would have a difficult time to cross.
Mortar fire started to fall upon the group, but were swiftly stopped by Amiya's arts, either shooting them off the sky or shielding the group from any that made it through.
"Mortars? It seems Talulah has been saving them for this specific moment," Alexei noted.
"Truly? It makes sense," FrostNova swiped her hand, a billowing frost encompassing the approaching Reunion members, leaving them as still as a statue. "It must have been planned by her."
"...Your arts has gotten much better?" Alexei noted, surprised at the casualness in which she wielded them.
"Hmm, I believe so?" FrostNova glanced up, seeing more mortar fire. "I'll help out the other rabbit, then," she spread her arms and arced the both of them together, pointing to the sky as they connected.
An ice formation formed above the group, taking the brunt of the mortar fire as explosions could be heard from above.
"Holy shit," the Rhodes Island Guard let out a brief exclamation of admiration, before he focused on the approaching Reunion member. He fired a crossbow bolt, nailing them in the shoulder. "That's... Weird?" However, what caught his attention was the fact that they had no orange ribbons.
"These ones... They look different?" Rosmontis noted out loud, waving her arms once more, letting out a cascade of slashes utilizing the four weapons floating around her.
"...Are they newly recruited Reunion members?" FrostNova had to raise an eyebrow, seeing the lack of orange on them.
"Forget it, we need to keep pushing forward!" Alexei blocked the blow of a Reunion Elite with his shield, exerting force to send it back.
Amiya instantly fired off an arts blast at the Reunion Elite right after, rendering them unconscious. "But they don't fight like Reunion, they seem more..."
