The happiness I'm feeling right now is something indescribable. I feel so excited as we all sit on the table and eat the lunch.

Ares and I sit on one side, sitting next to each other while Max and Adrien sit on the other side.

"It's good to see you here." Adrien warmly smiles as he takes the first bite of his meal. My smile grows wider but I try to hide it, biting on my bottom lip.

My cheeks hurt from smiling too much but what can I do? I'm sitting here, at the dining table and eating food like a normal person.

Max nods with a smile. Ares hasn't said much, keeping his mouth filled with the food. I have no idea what has gotten into his head and how he is being generous but I'm more focused on the feeling of being untied.

"How are the books? Did you find them interesting?" Max asks and I immediately get more excited. "They are good. Pretty informative." I nod, taking the first bite of the rice that is prepared in salt and butter, I believe.

"I never thought you guys can live up to hundred years." I say, finding it amusing. Max grins, feeling proud of the choices of the books.

"Did you read the mates part?" Max suddenly asks and I hear Adrien choke on air while Ares freezes beside me. "Max." Ares growls, warning him but stops when I start choking on my food, spitting the rice out of my mouth and making a mess. Some rice splatters on Ares' hand and my eyes go wide in horror. Ares eyes the white rice on his hand with big round eyes, his lips turning upside down in disgust.

"What the hell?" He mutters before gagging at the sight. My face starts to heat up from pure embarrassment.

I get up from my chair to grab the tissue that is placed on the other side of table. "Wipe it off. Wipe it off." Ares cries, turning his head to the other side as he tries not to throw up. "Sorry. Sorry." I mumble, holding his hand and wiping the mess I had just created. As I clean his hand in rush, my hand knocks off the glass next to Ares' plate.

Fuck. Fuck.
What the fuck.

The water splatters over Ares while some of it falls off the table, drenching the fabric on my thigh. Max snorts, pressing his lips together as he tries not to break into laughter. Tears start to form in his eyes as he laughs silently, his face turning red.

I slowly look at Ares only to find his angry face staring back at me. I gulp, freezing in the spot.

I'm dead. So fucking dead.

His white tee shirt is drenched with the water, making the fabric attach to his skin. As much as I'm concerned about angry Ares, my eyes are striking down the soaked shirt. His well built body peeking under the fabrics, his absolutely fine muscles hugging the drenched clothe. I'm amazed to see such fine muscles beneath the fabric. His black pants is also soaked up with the water, especially the area near his...main part.

"I can't believe this." He groans, the annoyance on his face making me laugh. A snort leaves my mouth but I look away when he looks at me with a 'really' expression.

"I didn't see that coming." I mutter, scratching my head as I realize how dumb I must be looking right now.
Can this air vanish me right now?

I shouldn't have come down. Nothing of this would have happened if I hadn't come down.

"Idiot." He groans, disgust and disappointment for me lacing in his words. I look at him, my smile fading away from my face. Without any word, Ares pushes his chair before getting up and leaving the table.
