Yoongi sunk down into his seat as Jungkook disposed of the body. He still kept an eye out, but he didn't want to be seen. Yoongi jumped a bit when Jungkook got back into the car and started it.
They kept quiet on their way home and while going inside.
Jungkook watched as Yoongi greeted their pets before he sat down on the couch. Jungkook walked over and sat next to him. "You okay?" He asked as he ordered food.
Yoongi glared at him. "Oh yeah... FANTASTIC! It's just a normal fucking Friday! Stalking my boyfriend cause I think he's cheating on me, but what I find him doing is a million times worse!!! What the actual fuck Jungkook?!" Yoongi screamed.
Jungkook kept calm and watched as Yoongi freaked out. "I'll tell you anything you want to know, just try to calm down a bit." He said softly.
Yoongi faced him on the couch and brought his knees to his chest. "Calm down?! CALM DOWN?! YOU FUCKING KILLED—"
Yoongi sniffled as he started to cry. "Jungkook, you fucking killed someone... why?"
Jungkook took a deep breath. "I don't really have a reason, at least not one you're hoping for. It's just something I do." He said.
Yoongi cried more, taking a moment to let it all out before he calmed down again. "What do you mean?" He asked.
"It's... well... it's just this urge I have... nothing sets it off, I'm not full of rage. It's just how my brain is wired." Jungkook said.
"So... you've... you've done this before... how many times?" Yoongi asked.
Jungkook looked at him. "Two hundred and sixty four." He said.
Yoongi's heart raced as he processed the enormity of Jungkook's admission. The room felt suffocating, as if the walls were closing in on him. He had always known Jungkook was a little eccentric, a little unpredictable even, but this? This was something else entirely.
"Two hundred and sixty-four..." Yoongi whispered, the words tasting bitter on his tongue. "And you never thought to mention it?"
Jungkook's eyes dropped to the floor, guilt washing over his handsome features. "I didn't want to scare you off. I thought if I kept it hidden, we could have a normal life. I thought it was just a part of me that I could manage."
"Manage?" Yoongi echoed incredulously. "You can't just manage something like this! What if I hadn't followed you tonight? What if someone had seen you?"
"I know, I know!" Jungkook's voice rose slightly, but he quickly calmed himself again. "But I didn't want you to worry. I didn't want you to see me as a monster."
"Monster? You don't want me to see you as a monster?" Yoongi asked, his voice trembling. "You just killed someone, Jungkook!"
Silence enveloped the room as the weight of that realization hung heavy between them. Yoongi felt a mixture of fear and disbelief clawing at him, but beneath it all, there was something else—a flicker of understanding and a strange, twisted sense of loyalty. He loved Jungkook. How could he reconcile that with the reality of what Jungkook had done?
"What if I told you," Jungkook began cautiously, "that I can control it? That I don't want to hurt you or anyone we care about?"
Yoongi's gaze softened slightly, but it was still guarded. "It's not about wanting to hurt me. It's about who you are, Jungkook. Can you really control it? What happens when that urge gets too strong?"
"I've always found a way to keep it at bay. I try not to do it too often, but I just... I've been stressed out lately." Jungkook's voice was barely above a whisper, raw with emotion. "It's like a stress reliever. I just... I can't stop myself."
"Then why tell me?" Yoongi asked, his voice steadier now. "Why not just keep it a secret like you've done before?"
"Because I love you, Yoongi," Jungkook replied, his eyes locking onto Yoongi's with a fierce intensity. "I'd rather you know than you think that I'm cheating on you... and well... sometimes I'd have to use sex so I could choke them if they didn't want a drink... but I never got any pleasure from it. I'm sorry about that..."
The confession hung in the air, and Yoongi felt something shift within him. He took a deep breath, trying to sift through the chaos of emotions swirling inside him. Love was a powerful thing; it could blind, it could bind, and it could also free.
"I... I need time," Yoongi finally said, breaking the heavy silence that had settled like a blanket over them. "I need to think. This... this is a lot."
"Take all the time you need," Jungkook replied, his voice breaking slightly. "I hope you can understand that I'm still the same person you fell in love with. But I'll be here, waiting... I can't leave you alone now that you know." He said.
Yoongi nodded slowly, his heart aching for both of them. He turned away, staring out the window at the rising sun. The sunlight painted soft orange rays of light across the room, illuminating the chaotic thoughts racing through his mind.
As he sat there, a mixture of fear and unwavering loyalty coursing through him, Yoongi couldn't shake the feeling that their lives were about to change forever. He could fight against it or embrace the chaos. But one thing was clear: he was in this with Jungkook, no matter the cost.
And as the shadows danced around them, he felt an undeniable pull toward the darkness, a curiosity sparked by the love he had for the boy who had just revealed his monstrous secret.
Yoongi looked over at Jungkook before there was a knock on the door. Jungkook smiled, looking like a child. "Food's here!!!" He said before getting up and answering the door.
Yoongi got up and watched as Jungkook thanked the delivery boy before he shut the door and walked back into the living room. Jungkook set the food on the coffee table.
Yoongi looked up at him and watched as he approached him, his hand on the side of Yoongi's neck as he looked down into his eyes.
"Hyung... if this is too much for you... if you are scared and feel uncomfortable or in danger... I can leave... just disappear and you'll never have to see me again. I never want to hurt you... I'll do anything you want, whatever to make you happy." Jungkook said.
Yoongi gripped Jungkook's shirt and pulled him closer. "I won't lie... I am terrified." Yoongi said with a shaky breath. "But not of you... I love you, I'm terrified of our future... if you get caught... I know you don't think that'll happen since you've been doing this for so long, but... what if you do? Then what the fuck do I do?! I can't be without you!" Yoongi said as he began to sob.
Jungkook held Yoongi tightly and close. "Baby... shhh, we'd figure it out." Jungkook said softly. "It'll be okay." Jungkook said. "Why do you go to bed? You're exhausted, unless you wanted to eat."
"A little but my head hurts and I'm so tired... tonight was a lot." Yoongi said.
Jungkook nodded and kissed his forehead a couple times. "Come on, I'll put you to bed." He said before taking Yoongi's hand and walking him to their room.
