"You didn't—

Rick stared with disbelief, I just sighed and strolled off.

Rick followed after me.

"Stop running, I'm not going to keep chasing you every single  time Kinsley!" He yelled

"Then don't."

Rick sighed and followed Celine silently as they made their way back home. The walk was filled with a heavy silence, neither of them speaking a word. Rick's mind was preoccupied with the events of the night, especially the sight of the scars on Celine's wrist.

Rick's mind was a whirlwind of thoughts and emotions as he walked beside Celine, the pang of sadness hurt within him learning about Celine's self-harm, and a realization hit him - he cared deeply for her. He hadn't expected someone as cheerful as Celine to struggle with such dark thoughts, and the thought made his heart ache.

Rick silently walked alongside Celine, consumed by his thoughts. He couldn't shake off the nagging feeling that somehow, he might have inadvertently contributed to Celine's actions. The idea of being responsible for her pain weighed heavily on his conscience, and he silently vowed that he would never forgive himself if that were the case.

As Celine and Rick entered the house, they found Rina settled downstairs, engrossed in watching Mean Girls on the television. Rina looked up briefly, her eyes flickering over to Celine and Rick before redirecting her focus to the movie on screen.

"Where's mom?" Rick asked

"Upstairs sleeping." Rina replied.

Rick turned to Celine, his voice filled with a mixture of concern and frustration. "We can't keep doing this," he began, his eyes never leaving hers. "It's not good for either of us." His tone was firm, emphasizing the need for clarity and understanding. He paused for a moment before continuing, his gaze intense as he asked, "Just please tell me why you did what you did?"

"What did she do?" Rina paused the tv and turned her attention onto us.

"Rina please."

"Oh your the one talking?— you jump in my conversations all the time." Rina engrossed back onto the tv.

Celine opened the fridge, reaching inside for a bottle of water. She took a moment to take a sip before turning around, finding Rick looking at her intently. "Tell me please," he pleaded, his eyes locking onto hers. The weight of the situation hung in the air as Celine stood there, contemplating how to respond.
