Weeks of planning, preparation, and waiting had finally led to this moment. The tension in the air was suffocating as our team gathered at the edge of the Dark Forest, the once peaceful and mystical woods now a battlefield. The League of Villains had set up camp deep within, and alongside them stood some of my own family members—the people I had trusted most. It was still hard to wrap my head around the fact that my home, the place that had once been a sanctuary, was now tainted by villainy.

Shoto stood next to me, his eyes locked on the path ahead. He hadn't left my side since we decided to fight, and the comfort of his presence kept me grounded, even as my mind raced with fear and doubt. My heart pounded in my chest, knowing what was to come. I would have to face my family—my brothers and sister, the people I grew up with, the ones who promised to protect me.

But things had changed.

"They're close," Shoto muttered, his voice calm but focused. His hand brushed against mine, a silent promise that no matter what, we would face this together.

I nodded, trying to shake the growing anxiety. "I can feel it too."

Behind us, our classmates and the heroes prepared for the fight ahead. Mr. Aizawa had given clear orders to keep the focus on defeating the League, but he knew that this battle wasn't just about villains—it was personal. My family was scattered within their ranks, and we couldn't be sure who was truly loyal to the League and who wasn't.

"Stay sharp," Bakugo grumbled, cracking his knuckles. "I don't care if they're family. If they're with the League, we take them down."

Midoriya gave me a sympathetic look, understanding the weight of what was to come. "We're all here for you, Y/N. Whatever happens, we'll get through this."

I took a deep breath, grateful for their support, but knowing that this was a battle I'd ultimately have to fight on my own.

We advanced deeper into the forest, the thick canopy above darkening our surroundings. The sound of footsteps, rustling leaves, and the distant hum of villainous energy grew louder. My senses sharpened, instincts honed from my years growing up in the Dark Forest kicking in. I could feel my family's presence, the familiar energy they carried, but it was distorted now—twisted by the influence of the League.

Suddenly, a burst of movement ahead. The League had made their move.

Villains came pouring out of the shadows, and chaos erupted. Our group clashed with them head-on. Shoto's flames roared to life as he fought alongside Midoriya and Bakugo. Meanwhile, I summoned the power of the forest around me, roots and vines lashing out to take down enemies, but my mind was elsewhere. I was searching—for him. For my older brother.

And then, I saw him.

Standing amidst the chaos, my favorite brother, Kaede, locked eyes with me. He looked the same—tall, strong, with that familiar protective glint in his eyes—but there was something different now. Something dark. My heart clenched as I realized he wasn't fighting alongside the heroes. He was with the League.

"Y/N!" Kaede shouted over the noise, pushing through the fray until we stood face to face. His expression was torn, conflicted.

"Kaede..." I breathed, my voice barely audible. "What are you doing?"

His eyes flashed with a mixture of anger and regret. "I don't want to fight you. But this is bigger than us. The League—what they're doing—it's the only way for people like us to survive, Y/N. We're not heroes. We've never been part of their world."

I shook my head, feeling my heart crack. "That's not true. We don't have to do this. We can make our own path without siding with villains. You don't have to fight for them!"

Kaede's gaze softened for a brief moment, the older brother I remembered flickering through. "You don't understand. They promised us protection. The Dark Forest is dying, and the heroes will never help us. They'll just keep pushing us further into the shadows."

"They're lying to you!" I shouted, desperation creeping into my voice. "You've always been on my side, Kaede. You promised me—you promised you'd always be on my side."

His expression faltered, and I could see the struggle within him. The years we spent together as kids flashed in my mind—the memories of him teaching me how to use my powers, of him defending me when things got tough. He wasn't just my brother; he was my protector, the one who always had my back.

Tears stung my eyes. "Don't do this, Kaede. Don't turn your back on me."

For a moment, the world seemed to slow down. Kaede stood there, torn between his loyalty to the League and the bond we shared. But then, something shifted in his eyes. His fists clenched at his sides, and I could see the weight of his decision bearing down on him.

"You're right," he muttered, his voice thick with emotion. "I made a promise."

He took a deep breath, stepping back from the villains. "I'm not with them anymore, Y/N. I'm with you."

A wave of relief crashed over me, but before I could respond, two more figures emerged from the shadows—my other brother, Ryu, and my sister, Sakura. They had seen everything, heard every word. Their expressions were conflicted, but I could see the loyalty in their eyes.

"Y/N's right," Sakura said, her voice soft but resolute. "We don't have to do this. We can fight back. We can protect the Dark Forest without becoming like them."

Ryu, always the quiet one, nodded. "We fight with you, Y/N. We always have."

I stood there, surrounded by my siblings, feeling the weight of their decision settle over me. Tears welled up in my eyes again, but this time it was out of relief. The people I had feared losing most were still with me. They had chosen me.

And now, we would fight together.

Kaede turned to face the oncoming villains, his expression hardening. "We're with you, Y/N. Let's end this."

With renewed strength, I nodded, my heart full as I looked at my siblings, ready to stand together against the villains and the family members who had chosen the wrong side. We weren't fighting alone anymore.

The battle was far from over, but for the first time in what felt like forever, I felt like we had a chance. My family, the one I thought I had lost, was by my side again. Together, we would fight for the Dark Forest—and for the future we believed in.
