So Sam is Sadie. I haven't seen Sam since that day. I think Sam is gone now, or maybe never was there.

I'm home now. Sitting in my room. It's 2:00 in the morning. I have been staring at the wall for a while. I never sat down to take the time to think about why Sadie said what she said. It was entirely out of character and made no sense. We never really got that deep with one another, and just thought that it was how Sadie really was. But based on recent moments I've spent with her, I was wrong. I've been wrong this whole time. Getting kicked out of her house and having to live somewhere else, I wasn't there to support her for any of that. And I used to call myself her friend. Just talking to me, seeing how I didn't even recognize her, must've been eating at her and causing her so much pain. I needed to talk to her.

I called her phone. She didn't pick up, so I called The Mange.

"Hey, do you know where Sadie is?" I asked

"No idea, why do you want to know?" The Mange said.

"I have to talk to her and she isn't picking up her phone."

"So you know?"

"Your dad didn't hide much with his words."

"Thought so. Do you need to do this? Now, at least?"

"Yes."

"Ok, let me check, we have a phone tracker thing together in case one of us needs help."

The moment of silence spent checking her location causes invisible pressure to grasp my heart like a sword.

"She's by the pond, you know the one we went to. She sometimes goes there late at night to think."

"Gotcha, thanks for the help."

"Be careful."

"I will. I promise, Tommie."
