The shadow approached, darting out of its hiding spot. Gojo did not heed Blaze's words, keeping his focus and attention purely on Frostnova.
Blaze revved her chainsaw, planning to intercept the aggressor, but she was too far away to properly act, watching as the figure flashed through the scene, blade in hand as it aimed for Gojo's neck.
Noticing Blaze's distress, Greythroat loaded her crossbow while Amiya charged her arts blast.
"Get the hell away from them!" Blaze swung her chainsaw to intercept the man's weapon, successfully parrying it off course
CLANG!
However, the edge still grazed Gojo's neck, blood spilling out of it as he still remained motionless.
The Shadow Guard stared into the man's blue eyes, noticing how it looked at him completely disinterestedly. Before it could go for a second attack, the crossbow shot infused with Greythroat's arts forced it to dodge to the side; directly into Amiya's arts, disorienting it from the impact.
"Distract him until Gojo finishes healing!" The Doctor commanded them from behind a pillar, analyzing the scene from his PRTS.
"I'll try!" Amiya sent another crackle of black and red lightning as Blaze moved in as the main assault.
The Black Raincoat raised his weapon once more, swinging in a wide arc as it deflected the arts blast, and swinging it back as it clashed with Blaze's enhanced chainsaw.
Meanwhile, Gojo kept his attention upon Yelena, hands still holding her shoulders as his RCT output continued to fight off her progressing infection. Blood dripped from his neck, a shallow cut, but he had experienced worse.
He noted how Yelena raised her hand shakily, bringing her fingertips to his bleeding throat, freezing the wound as she did so. "It's the least I can do," she whispered out, her gaze feeling like a soft breeze.
Gojo lightly lowered his head in a curt nod, still keeping his focus at the maximum.
Greythroat moved to the two's side, firing off three shots at the Shadow Guard who was clashing weapons with Blaze.
Two of them missed, but one made their mark in grazing his left shoulder, sadly; the opponent was right handed.
Using the opportunity, Amiya fired off another arts blast towards the enemy's legs, hoping to create an opening for Blaze.
The Shadow Guard leapt high into the air as it impacted where it once stood, denting the ground considerably.
Blaze used the debris that had built up to use as a platform to catch up to the enemy. Once she had reached the man's position, she swung up vertically, prompting him to block the chainsaw by lowering its blade.
Amiya rushed past the two, firing off another shot at the shadow's back, which successfully landed its mark.
His guarding stance broke, leaving him susceptible to a vicious barrage from Blaze's chainsaw.
She continued to use her arts as she swung at the Shadow Guard's chest, the latter only being able to desperately shield from the attacks as the two started to fall to the ground.
Multiple cuts had formed on its arms and chest as it kicked off of Blaze and backed away-
Only to be met with an arts-infused bolt stabbing into his right leg, far more powerful than previous shots before. Its leg bent, collapsing as it started to lose motion.
Shadows gathered and merged around its blade in a vortex, as it could only focus on a stationary offensive attack now that Blaze was charging it with a fury in her eyes.
