The winner takes it all

It has been a week since Zac's funeral. I held the funeral in the Bayou and Father Kieran insisted that he held it.

All of these lines across my face, tell you the story of who I am. So many stories of where I've been and how I got to where I am. But these stories don't mean anything when you've got no one to tell them to. It's true, I was made for you.

I climbed across the mountaintops, traveled across the ocean blue I crossed over lines and I broke all the rules but baby I broke them all for you. Oh because even when I was flat broke, you made me feel like a million bucks. You do and I was made for you.

You see the smile that's on my mouth? It's hiding the words that don't come out and all of the friends who think that I'm blessed, they don't know my head is a mess. No they don't know who I really am and they don't know what I've been through like you do and I was made for you.

~The Story from Sara Ramirez~

In this week, I didn't leave the Bayou. I didn't sleep or eat as well. I was exhausted and broken. Tears slipped down my face. I really miss him.

Suddenly the earth shook in the Bayou and I began to worry. Something is going on. And I have feeling it's bad. I noticed I got a text: Meet me at the compound   -Sophie

I put my clothes on and went to the compound. When I arrived, I noticed that there was seriously something bad going on. The compound was destroyed and everybody looked scared.

"What's going on?" I asked Sophie.

"Davina. She is ill."

Sophie motioned to follow her upstairs. When I arrived in Davina's room, my heart broke. She looked pale and sweat was covering her face.

"What's happening to her?"

"The Harvest. She was supposed to give her magic back to the earth after she was killed. But the Harvest wasn't finished and all the power is boiling up in Davina. It's to much for her."

"What can we do about it?"

"We need to complete the Harvest."

"We are NOT going to complete the Harvest!"

Davina woke up and saw me.

"I'll leave you two to talk," Sophie said.

I went to Davina's bed and laid her head on my lap.

"I'm so sorry, baby," I whispered.

"It's not you fault." She said.

Her eyes drooped again and I went silently downstairs. Sophie sat in the parlor with the three Originals and Marcel. I slapped Marcel in the face.

"I kind of deserved that."

"You deserve a lot more!" I spat.

"Amelia!" Sophie yelled.

"What."

"Drop it, for Davina's sake."

I sat down on the couch and the Originals looked at me.

"Why is she here?" Elijah asked.

"Davina is my niece. I am the only family she has left."

"Back to business shall we?" Klaus said.

"We need to complete the Harvest to save New Orleans."

"Nobody touches Davina! No Harvest!" I yelled.

"It's the best thing to do," Sophie said.

"Yeah? Was that what the Elders told the other three girls before their throat was slit?"

I left the room and went upstairs. Davina was still asleep and Marcel stood beside me.

"I know you hate me right now but I have a plan."

I frowned at him but he showed me a little paper. I smiled for the first time in a week.

We (Marcel,Davina and I) arrived at the docks and Davina woke up after a few minutes. The Originals had sedated her to avoid more damage. She blinked a few times and started to cough up water. She was in pain and I felt terrible.

"Just hang on okay? Everything is going to be fine," I assured her.

"I'm done with it Amy," she whispered.

"Just a couple more weeks," I cried now.

"I'm tired of the power and hiding for the witches. The vampires use me as a tool and I miss my old life," she cried now.

"I'm ready," she whispered.

"I won't let you!"

"Please...It's my choice."

Marcel came towards us and Davina nodded. He took Davina in his arms and we walked together to the cemetery.

Everything was prepared for the ritual. Sophie was going to perform it because she became an Elder.

"Do you believe?" she asked Davina.

"I believe," Davina stated.

Sophie slit her throat and Marcel caught her when she fell. The 4 bodies of the Harvest girls, dressed in white, laid together.

"We call upon our Elders to resurrect these bodies," Sophie chanted.

Nothing happened and worry crossed her face.

"I ask you to resurrect these bodies. Please?"

The Harvest was just a myth.

"Happy now? Your niece died so mine needed to die too? The Harvest doesn't exist!"

I grew angry and magic sizzled at my fingers. Wind blew through the cemetery and the flames increased.

"Calm down, please,Amelia."

"Calm down?! You just killed my only family left!" I cried. The flames and the wind died down. I was broken. I returned to the Bayou and fell soon asleep.
