Felicity: What do you mean they got 'em?
Cisco: There were these government agent guys and they had guns and they shot the others with tranq darts and they took them and the Dominator captive!
Felicity and Cisco-1 both put their hands up, scrunching their faces as they followed Cisco in pacing back and forth on the floor.
Cisco-1: Crap, crap, crap. We've got to find them.
Felicity: What about Barry? What if we call him and get him to help?
Cisco-1: No. I am not calling Barry.
Cisco looked between Felicity and his doppelgänger as they argued.
Felicity: Come on, Cisco.
Cisco-1: I know what you're trying to do. You're trying to get me and Barry to work together so that we can make up and everything will be all hunky dory.
Felicity: I... Alright, you got me there. But we could use his help, Cisco. We're up against government agents and he'd be a big aide in getting in there.
Cisco-1: No.
Felicity: You can't stay made at your friend forever.
Cisco-1: I told you, he's not my friend.
Cisco: Alright, enough from you!
Both Cisco-1 and Felicity stopped as Vibe raised his voice. Cisco pointed towards his counterpart, scolding him.
Cisco: You need to stop holding that gosh darn grudge of yours. If anyone is going to help you now or in the future, it's Barry Allen.
Cisco-1: "Help me"? Excuse me. In case you've forgotten, he's the reason my brother is dead.
Cisco: Yes and no. He made a mistake. But can you really blame him? If you could go back and stop Dante's death, would you? That's exactly what Barry did with his folks.
Cisco-1 remained quiet while his other self spoke sternly to him.
Cisco: For all the things you've done together, you still can't see what he's been through. I know I just met Barry, but if he's anything like my Barry or even Y/N, then I know he has always put others before himself. So, can you blame him for wanting to do one thing good for himself? To be selfish for once?
Cisco-1: He took it upon himself to change the timeline. Would you really be okay if Y/N did the same on your Earth.
Cisco: Without question.
Cisco-1's eyes went big. He didn't expect that response from his other self. He expected him to be on his side. Cisco exhaled for a moment before continuing.
Cisco: When I first met him, Y/N was still learning who he was and what he could do. But through it all, he never thought about himself. He thought about how he could help others. He thought about how he could help me. When we were at our lowest, he gave himself up to save all of us, strangers at the time he had only known for a week. And for six months after nearly killing himself to save us again, he pushed himself to save others. Not once did he think about himself, to the point that it was really affecting him socially and mentally. So, if he took it upon himself to change the timeline, to see his parents again, even if it messed up my life, I would be okay with it. After everything he's done, he deserves to think about himself for once. And I can already tell by the people who trust him that Barry is the same way. He puts others before himself.
Cisco continued to stare at his other self.
Cisco: Now, you may not be able to do it immediately, it may take some time, but you need to stop blaming Barry. That's all in the past. Right now, you need him and he needs you. And right now, we need to focus on getting our friends back.
