Reunion's forces were unrelenting, the Doctor observed from the rooftops. It seemed that finding Misha right now, with the streets being flooded by the white masks, would be a no-go at this point.

"Franka, Liskarm, find an empty building to the right and reside there to surprise attack Reunion whenever they breach the 3rd white line on that street in front of you," the LGD was holding the main bulk of Reunion over there, so if even one of them were to get through, they could immediately be shot by Liskarm's pistol.

"Roger that~!" Franka's voice filled his intercom, as he continued to analyze the PRTS.

"Amiya, stay beside me to provide ranged arts support, keep a look out for Reunion snipers..."

Amiya nodded with a confirming sound, moving her arms into a projectile shooting position, looking out for any snipers hiding in the buildings. "How long do you think the back-up will take, Doctor?"

"I don't know... Gojo said he's coming with additional operators, but they're all the way from Rhodes Island..." A contemplative voice left his lips as he glanced back at the streets... No signs of Reunion, yet. "We'll have to hold off on our own now."

"Ah, I understand," Amiya's ears twitched as the Doctor felt the urge to pat them, but he had urgent matters to attend to right now.

The smoke and fires raging across Lungmen far from their positions was worrying, those matters would be attended to after this one.

Rumbling.

There was a rumbling sound, as amongst the fog built up by the smoke, he could see the white masks of Reunion rushing forward, as the LGD officers tensed into position. The ones with shields got in front first, as they made space for their allies to strike from behind them.

"They're coming," the Doctor noted in his intercoms.

Out of the sky, a rain of crossbow bolts came bearing down as the officers were forced to turn their shields upward, shielding their forms from the black death that wished to pierce them.

As their attention was occupied with shielding the assault, the melee Reunion members were able to nearly catch them off guard and without the protection of their shields; but the soldiers on the battlefield were disciplined enough to react to their ploy.

A messy battle began, akin to a slugging match as the two masses of white and black collided with each other, springing forward a sound of blades clashing and flesh being sliced.

The situation was now out of the Doctor's control as he could only direct the operators under his control now, watching as Liskarm unloaded precise shots to support the LGD officers.

His gaze turned to Ch'en, who parried and weaved through slashes in the middle of the Reunion horde, paving a path for the LGD to exploit and break formation of their enemies.

His gaze turned to the buildings at the left, seeing a black crossbow which blended in with the surroundings-

Before the person inside was blasted by Amiya's arts.

It seemed to have caused a chain reaction, as once Liskarm had finished reloading, two more shots rang out into the buildings as the Doctor saw two other crossbows fall out the building and onto the cold pavement.

"Good work," the Doctor simply noted as his gaze turned back to the battlefield, the LGD in the obvious lead...

Especially with the grand entrance of a green haired Oni, bearing a single horn on her head and a monstrous aptitude for the shield she was equipped with.

Watching her move through the horde along with Ch'en was like watching a piece of static art being made in action, with the splashes of paint being the blood of the Reunion members.
