The near barren battlefield of Chernobog was silent, with only the blowing wind making its presence known.
Amongst the ashen ground and collapsed building, there stood the General who could not be tamed by any Sovereign, even after centuries had passed since its manifestation into reality.
The being that could adapt to any and every phenomenon, Mahoraga, was a beast to be reckoned with.
It stood there, staring straight ahead as it floated in the sky, arms crossed over its chest... before its head turned.
The reunion members cowered, at its mighty presence while the more powerful ones prepared themselves in a stance.
Patriot fixed his gaze upon the towering figure standing over the kneeling and collapsed boy, who seemed to have lost consciousness upon summoning it.
The first person to the divine being had laid its eyes upon... was none other than the Wendigo himself.
Their height matched, a tension as thick as magma had formed as sparks of conflict resounded between the two Generals...
The game of war has begun.

Debris of ash flew up as Mahoraga had dashed forward, ignoring Megumi in his entirety as a blade glinted despite the blackened skies of Chernobog.
The blade struck Patriot's black shield, sending a resounding shockwave as Talulah snapped her gaze behind her, having expected the beast to charge her first. But it recognized the true strongest on this battlefield.
A contest of strength ensued, as multiple reunion grunts in the back were blown away by the air pressure.
Faust grabbed Mephisto, dragging him away from the impact, they would only get in the way of this clash.
"W-what are you doing?! They're getting away!" Mephisto screamed as Rhodes Island had already hoisted Megumi up, running their damned best as they ran away from the battlefield.
"Forget it dumbass! We have something more worrying to deal with! Get everybody out of here!" Crownslayer appeared by his side, throwing daggers toward Mahoraga, but it simply bounced off, as he ignored it in favor of his contest with Patriot.
Ice started to form under his feet, something Mahoraga has taken notice of... As he broke off the contest to jump, cracking the ground and lifting himself in the air.
Patriot took a few steps back as Mahoraga forced himself to reach the ground again, shattering it into a spiderweb crack and sending it upwards.
An intense heat made itself known behind the back of the great beast, causing it to turn its attention to a great tsunami of fire ready to consume it.
With a roar, he swung his Sword of Extermination in a wide left arc, sending out a shockwave powerful enough to disperse and reduce its power.
Talulah slightly widened her eyes as she dodged the shockwave.
From behind, the thrust of Patriot's spear shot forward with a thunderous crack as it pierced through Mahoraga's left arm, barely making enough time to defend its form.
As Mahoraga attempted to move his arm and pull off Patriot's balance, the Wendigo retracted the blow as he shielded himself for the next consecutive blows that came from the arm that held the Sword of Extermination.
