This series is a journey, starting with book one, and you won’t even realize by the time you’re on book four, that’s where the magic truly happens. Each book is about a different couple, but the connection between all the characters and their stories ties the series together beautifully.
The first book is a best friends-to-enemies-to-lovers, set against the backdrop of the classic bully trope. The second book tackles body positivity and features an ultimate playboy character. What’s remarkable about this series is how it revolves around a town, its families, and the interconnected lives of the children growing up there. You can’t skip any of these Royal Hearts Manor books. Each one adds layers to the characters, and every page is worth your time.
However, my personal favorite is book four. The characters evolve so much throughout the series. For example, Oakley, who starts off in book one as an annoying side character you wouldn’t think twice about, grows to become someone you want as your friend by the end of book one. By book two, you want him to be your best friend, by book three, you’re rooting for him to be her man, and by book four, you’ll want Oakley to be your man.
Similarly, Bianca, who starts off as an irritating character you don’t care for, evolves from a cunning queen bee to someone you want to hug by the end of book three, and by book four, she’ll be one of the most beautifully written characters you’ve ever read.
