The lights of the ceiling blared down on his face, bleeding through the closed eyelids and scarf that sealed them.

With a yawn, Gojo stretched his arms as he moved his index and middle finger to the scarf covering his eyes, lifting them up as he squinted.

'This position seems familiar,' he dully noted, remembering the blue and clear sky of Shinjuku after a certain attack.

A low ringing sound echoed in his room, as his attention turned to the obscured speakers at the ceiling of his roof.

"Coming!" Calling out to the door, Gojo jumped up from the couch as he placed his hands on his hips and stretched forward. His muscles were accentuated as he applied more strain from them.

Turning to his white robe that was still resting, he lifted it back up and fluttered it in the air, giving it its flow again.

Donning the robes and wrapping the scarf around his neck, he advanced towards the door. When Gojo arrived, he was hovering his fingers over the buttons that aligned the panel next to it.

'Hmm... Should be this one,' with a rub of his chin and a soft touch of his index finger, the light at the top of the door flashed green as it opened.

"Oh?" Examining the ...little girl? In front of him? Gojo couldn't help but question her age. "Yo," He decided to give her a simple greeting with a hand raise.

There was a black haired girl with fox ears chewing on a Pocky stick. 'Woah Pocky-or rather, its equivalent exists here too?' Gojo couldn't help but focus his sights on that

The girl stared up at him with a neutral expression, replying with "Hello-," before her pupils dilated.

It was as if cold water had been splashed over her, as she stepped back a step and narrowed her eyes. The ears on her head twitched as her hands twitched towards the weapon at her side.

Raising an eyebrow of her reaction, Gojo's six eyes peered through her. Making a split second deduction, she seemed to have an ability related to blades or something, and her animal senses must be honed to a certain extent.

He had almost mistakenly taken her as a Heavenly Restriction user due to the lack of cursed energy, but he settled with the next best thing he could sense, originium.

Even if she herself specifically had a very small amount of it, Gojo was still able to sense it clearly.

Now back to the main topic... Gojo noted her reaction may or may not be due to the nature of his cursed energy. It seems this girl has a stronger reaction to its nature due to her instinct, if his guess was correct.

"Something wrong?"

"...No, sorry," the girl closed her eyes as she let out a low breath, steadying her movements as she removed the grasp from her sheathed weapon. "You're Gojo Satoru, right?" She fixed her gaze on him once more.

"Hm, yeah, the one and only," letting a beaming smile go, Gojo pointed to himself. "And your name is?"

"Texas," a simple and curt reply left her lips as she regarded him. "I was asked by Kal'tsit to be your guide around Rhodes Island."

"Aha, you're the one huh?" He already knew.

"Yes, now, where to?" Texas was now chewing on another pocky stick as she eyed the mini-map posted nearby on a wall.

'She reminds me of Megumi,' a stray thought came to his student as Gojo contemplated where to go next.

"Well~, I haven't eaten in a long time, so I'd like to go to the place where they serve food and see what they've got."
