If there was a color to describe the people in this village, then it'll be a monochromatic black. Why? Because it's a dull shade without any sort of contrast to make it unique. Everyone was afraid of one man and only one alone, Park Jimin, the Ice King. His name has a lovely ring to it doesn't it?

Everything about that man makes every woman on their knees, begging for his attention. His icy blue eyes could immediately send shivers down their spine along with those succulent plump lips.. he was the definition of every women's ideal type.

But don't be so fooled. He is no gentleman.

As a matter of fact, he is the most cruelest person alive. He may be the ruler of this kingdom, but his heart is solid as ice. He could care less about how they felt...

Wanna know how cruel he is?

This entire kingdom that once colorful.. filled with joyous laughter was now replaced with nothing more than a barbaric snowstorm... an eternal blizzard casted by the King himself. Why you may ask?

There is no reason. He simply wanted to.

But there is a way to end this eternal suffering... by the King's request; a young fair lady. Sounds easy to follow right? That's where you're wrong.. it's actually the complete opposite.

The word "young fair lady" automatically translates to a literal goddess by beauty. That was his definition, and clearly it seemed impossible. Especially when no women in the village met those standards.

But perhaps someone could change that cold heart of his..

YOUR P. O. V

"It's so damn cold..." You muttered with each your hot breath turned into visible vapor in the cold air. Your fingers trembled, grabbing a piece of cold flint before smacking it against steel, creating a spark.

With every attempt feeling absolutely futile you finally managed to light up the fireplace.

Finally... it felt like forever.

You sat in front of the fireplace, trembling slightly as you pulled the cloak over your shoulders.

This was definitely something you could not grow accustomed to yet for the last several years everyone in this village.. even the kingdom endured this hard weather.

All because of the damn king.

Park Jimin... you seriously have no heart for your people do you?

You seriously can't understand how could a ruler like him be every women's idol?

It was absolutely ridiculous the fact that these women were practically fantasizing about him, and it was to the point where it was getting concerning.

Like do they not see how big of a red flag he was..?

Personally you never seen him in person, but just hearing his name being mentioned immediately brought a grimace look to your face.

There was absolutely nothing about that man to respect about other than he is the ruler, and it's unfortunately mandatory to treat him with etiquette.

After all he is the king... one wrong move could get you killed.

Isn't that nice?

"I would rather say it's stupid.."

That was actually an understatement. It was more like 'complete bullshit' but of course where is my language? You huffed to yourself in disbelief before flicking your gaze out the muffled sound of women giggling outside.

"For god sakes.. it's freezing outside, why are they giggling while I'm shivering?" Reluctantly you approached the door, grabbing the handle before tugging it slightly feeling the cold breeze seeping through the cracks.

"God its cold.." You shivered from the air tickling your pale cheeks as you noticed a bunch of women from the village walking towards the kingdom.

Where were they all going..?

It took a couple of minutes until it clicked.

"Wait... today is the offering?" By that remark you meant the day where each village from a different region of the kingdom offers all their bachelorette for the king.

Only for one reason; pleading for the eternal snowstorm to be lifted. Personally you were never really interested in these occasions, however....

"I'd love to see him wipe those giggles away." Without a moment to spare you quickly slip on a pair of leather flat shoes before scurrying into the crowd, and unintentionally matching their footsteps along the snow path.

God it's so cold... you felt your teeth chartering in unison with the crowd of women. Instinctive you huffed out a hot breath onto your shivering hand in the attempts to warm yourself.

From seconds to minutes the long line finally arrived at the destination; the castle.

You could hear the many women around giggling excitedly as the double doors opened. They were clearly way too excited for this damn king..

Walking inside a few maids greeted us with a heart warming smile, they gestured their hands before beckoning us to follow.

It appears that they were leading us to the throne hall.. Where Jimin awaits for our appearance.

Well excluding yourself of course, because cleanly you only came just for the show.

Arriving to the entrance to the throne hall the maids deliberately pushed the doors opened. The girls around you would gasp in unison upon seeing how absolutely captivating the hall was..

Despite how gorgeous the interior looked, all of their eyes landed on the man who sat on the throne.

Park Jimin..

With that the show has finally begun~
