As the soft glow of the television illuminated the dimly lit room, Jungkook lay curled around Yoongi, their bodies intertwined beneath the sheets. The movie played on in the background, but neither of them was paying much attention. Instead, they were lost in the warmth of each other, the comfortable silence occasionally filled with quiet laughter or soft murmurs.

However, Jungkook's mind was still swirling with thoughts about Jimin's earlier revelation. The mention of Namjoon had awakened a storm of emotions within him, and he couldn't shake the feeling that he needed to know more.

"Hey, Yoongi," he began, his voice low and tentative, breaking the peaceful silence.

"Hmm?" Yoongi replied, turning his head slightly to look at him, his expression a mixture of curiosity and affection.

"Can I ask you something?" Jungkook hesitated, unsure of how to phrase it. He wanted to keep the mood light, but the question weighed heavily on his mind.

"Of course. What's up?" Yoongi said, his brow furrowing slightly as he sensed the change in Jungkook's demeanor.

"Who is Namjoon?" Jungkook asked, his voice steady but his heart racing. He tried to keep his tone casual, but he could feel a flicker of tension creeping in.

Yoongi's expression shifted almost imperceptibly, a hint of surprise in his eyes. "Namjoon? He's... well, he's a childhood friend of mine," he started, his voice thoughtful. "We grew up together. We dated for a little while back in high school, but it ended on good terms."

Jungkook felt a rush of heat flood his cheeks, but not from embarrassment—no, it was something much darker. "You dated?" he echoed, feeling a surge of possessiveness rise within him.

"Yeah, just for a bit," Yoongi replied, his tone lighter now. "It was nothing serious. We were young, figuring things out. We've been friends ever since. He's a good guy."

"Good guy," Jungkook repeated, his voice edged with a hint of bitterness he couldn't quite suppress. "So you still talk to him?"

"Sometimes," Yoongi said, glancing away slightly. "He moved away, but we kept in touch. He checks in every now and then."

The words felt like daggers to Jungkook's heart. He tried to keep his breathing steady, but the rage bubbling inside him was becoming harder to contain. "So, he just waltzes back into your life and asks to catch up, and you're okay with that?" Jungkook's voice was sharper than he intended.

"Jungkook, it's not like that," Yoongi said, his tone shifting to one of concern. He reached out, placing a hand on Jungkook's cheek. "Namjoon is just a friend. I love you. You know that."

But Jungkook's mind was racing, and he couldn't shake the image of Yoongi laughing and smiling with Namjoon. "You dated him, Yoongi! You shared things with him that you'll never share with me!" Jungkook's voice rose slightly, his frustration spilling over.

"Jungkook, please," Yoongi urged, his eyes wide with worry. "It was a long time ago. What we had was just a school crush. What you and I have is real."

"Is it?" Jungkook snapped, pulling away slightly, the warmth of their previous intimacy feeling like it was slipping away. "How can I know you won't just go back to him? You said you still talk to him!"

"Because I chose you!" Yoongi exclaimed, his voice rising to match Jungkook's intensity. "You're the one I want to be with now. I thought you trusted me!"

"I do trust you!" Jungkook shot back, his heart pounding in his chest. "But how can I not feel jealous when I hear you talk about him? It makes me feel like I'm not enough for you!"
