The night had fallen gently over the U.A. summer camp, casting the clearing in a soft glow. A fire crackled in the middle, its warmth providing comfort after a long day of training. Class 1-A had gathered around, taking a rare moment to relax. Laughter filled the air as Mina proposed a game of Truth or Dare, her eyes gleaming with excitement.
"Come on, everyone! We need something fun after all that hard work today!" Mina grinned mischievously as she looked around the group, already plotting her next move.
"Truth or Dare, huh?" Kaminari leaned forward with a smirk. "This is going to get wild, isn't it?"
"Oh, for sure!" Mina winked, bouncing on her heels. "Everyone needs to play. No backing out!"
At first, some of the students hesitated—especially Bakugou, who shot Mina a glare, grumbling something about wasting time—but eventually, even he stayed. The group formed a circle, sitting around the fire, their faces illuminated by its flickering light.
You found yourself sitting beside Todoroki, who remained as calm and composed as always. But every now and then, you'd catch him glancing at you out of the corner of his eye, as though something was on his mind. Ever since the incident with the villains and the appearance of your family, things between you and Todoroki had been complicated. Neither of you had spoken much about the tension still lingering from your fight before camp, and despite the unspoken connection that seemed to draw you together, you weren't sure where the two of you stood.
Mina spun an empty bottle to determine who would go first. As it slowed, the neck of the bottle pointed straight at Midoriya. He blinked, wide-eyed and nervous.
"Midoriya!" Mina exclaimed. "Truth or Dare?"
Midoriya chuckled awkwardly, rubbing the back of his neck. "Uh, truth."
Mina pouted. "Boo, that's too safe! Fine. Let's see... who do you think is the strongest person in Class 1-A?"
Midoriya glanced around the circle, knowing full well that any answer could potentially upset someone. "Uh, well... I think everyone has their strengths, but—"
Bakugou cut him off with a growl. "Just say me, nerd. We all know it."
"That's not what I was going to say!" Midoriya quickly corrected. "But... if I had to choose, I'd say it's Todoroki. His quirk is incredibly versatile."
Todoroki blinked in surprise but said nothing, while the rest of the group either nodded in agreement or complained about Midoriya's diplomatic answer. The game continued, the bottle spinning and pointing to various students, leading to harmless dares, funny truths, and growing laughter.
Then it was your turn.
The bottle spun again, this time landing on you. Mina grinned, her eyes flashing with mischief. "Y/N! Truth or Dare?"
You hesitated, knowing that either option with Mina would lead to something risky. But you didn't want to seem like you were playing it safe.
