One Friday night, Yoongi and Jungkook decided to hit up a local bar with Hoseok and a few other friends. The atmosphere was electric, filled with laughter, music, and the clinking of glasses. Yoongi was excited to unwind, enjoying the vibrant energy around him. He felt at ease, nestled against Jungkook, who had his arm draped protectively around Yoongi's shoulders.
As the night progressed, the drinks flowed, and the group began to loosen up. Hoseok was in the middle of a hilarious story, making everyone laugh, when Yoongi decided to step outside for some fresh air. He slipped away from the crowd, grateful for a moment of quiet.
Standing outside, he took a deep breath, admiring the stars twinkling above, when he suddenly noticed a guy leaning against the wall nearby. The stranger had tousled hair, an easy smile, and an air of confidence that drew Yoongi's attention.
"Hey there," the guy said, flashing a charming grin. "You're Yoongi, right? I've seen you around here a couple of times. I think you're really cute."
Yoongi felt his cheeks heat up, caught off guard by the compliment. He laughed nervously, trying to deflect. "Uh, thanks, but I'm actually here with someone."
"Oh, come on," the guy said, stepping closer. "You can't tell me you're really that into him. I mean, look at me." He gestured to himself, an overly confident smirk on his face. "I could treat you better."
Before Yoongi could respond, he caught sight of Jungkook emerging from the bar, his expression shifting from carefree to tense the moment he spotted the scene unfolding. Jungkook's eyes narrowed, a flash of possessiveness crossing his features as he strode toward them.
"Yoongi!" Jungkook called out, his voice low and steady, but there was an edge to it that sent a shiver down Yoongi's spine. "Is everything okay?"
The stranger turned to Jungkook, his demeanor shifting to one of bravado. "Just having a friendly chat with your boyfriend," he said, leaning against the wall and crossing his arms. "Nothing wrong with that, right?"
Without a word, Jungkook stepped in front of Yoongi, shielding him from view. "I don't think you should be talking to him," Jungkook said, his voice calm but laced with an unmistakable threat. "Why don't you back off?"
"Or what?" the guy challenged, puffing out his chest. "You think you can scare me away just because you're all protective? That's cute."
Yoongi felt a mix of emotions swirling inside him—fear, anxiety, and the realization that Jungkook's intensity was escalating. "Jungkook, it's fine," Yoongi tried to intervene, but his voice came out shaky. "Let's just go back inside."
But Jungkook didn't budge. "No. He needs to understand that you're not interested," he stated, his eyes locked onto the other guy, a fierce glare that sent a clear message.
"Come on, man, it's just a conversation," the stranger said, attempting to shrug it off. But Yoongi could see the tension in Jungkook's body, the way his fists clenched at his sides.
"Let's not make this a bigger deal than it needs to be," Yoongi said, his heart racing. He reached out, placing a hand on Jungkook's arm, hoping to calm him down. "Jungkook, please."
The stranger smirked, a look of amusement crossing his face. "Looks like he's got you on a tight leash, huh?"
In an instant, Jungkook's expression shifted, and Yoongi could see the anger flaring in his eyes. "You don't get to talk to him like that," Jungkook said, his voice low and dangerous. "I suggest you walk away before this gets ugly."
Seeing the situation escalate, Yoongi stepped closer to Jungkook, desperation rising within him. "Jungkook, don't," he pleaded, his voice urgent. "Let's just go back inside. Please."
The tension hung thick in the air, and Yoongi could feel the weight of Jungkook's possessiveness pressing down on him. Finally, with a reluctant glance back at the stranger, Jungkook took a deep breath, his shoulders relaxing slightly. "You're lucky he's here," he muttered before turning away, pulling Yoongi along with him.
As they walked back to the bar, Yoongi's heart raced. He felt a mix of relief and concern, the adrenaline still coursing through him. "Jungkook, you didn't have to do that—"
"He was flirting with you." Jungkook said through his teeth.
"So? I'm with you... you're all I care about." Yoongi said softly.
Jungkook looked between his eyes and lips before he lunged forward and kissed him passionately. Yoongi smiled into the kiss and wrapped his arms around Jungkook's neck as they made out.
Jungkook was watching the guy who had tried to take the love of his life from him, he watched as he looked over at them, so Jungkook possessively gripped Yoongi's ass, making him moan lightly. Yoongi pulled away and started to kiss on Jungkook's neck, trying to ignore the tension that lingered.
Then suddenly, Jungkook pulled Yoongi towards the exit, his expression unreadable.
"Jungkook, where are we going?" Yoongi asked, confusion etched on his face.
"We're leaving," Jungkook replied, his tone brooking no argument. He glanced over his shoulder, and Yoongi followed his gaze, spotting the guy who had been hitting on him exiting the bar.
"Just a moment," Yoongi said, trying to pull away, but Jungkook's grip tightened. "I want to talk to Hoseok."
"No," Jungkook said, his voice low and firm. "We need to go home. You can text him."
"Jungkook, I need to tell him we're leaving," Yoongi insisted, feeling a mix of frustration and concern. "Let go of—"
"I said we're leaving," Jungkook interrupted, his eyes narrowing as he watched the stranger walk to a parked car. "Now."
With a resigned sigh, Yoongi allowed Jungkook to lead him outside. Once they reached the parking lot, Jungkook stopped, his gaze fixed on the car the stranger had entered. He pulled out his phone and discreetly snapped a photo of the license plate before turning to Yoongi.
"You know... we could report him. For harassment." Jungkook said, his voice barely above a whisper, but there was an intensity in his eyes that made Yoongi's stomach twist with unease.
"Jungkook, please," Yoongi said, his heart racing. "We don't need to do anything else. He tried, you came over and protected me, he backed off! End of story."
But Jungkook was already lost in his thoughts, determination etched on his face. "Let's go." he said, his tone resolute.

Ever since that incident at the bar, Yoongi noticed subtle changes in Jungkook. He was more withdrawn, often lost in thought, and there was an intensity in his gaze that made Yoongi uneasy. He tried to reach out, to understand what was going on in Jungkook's mind, but every time he brought it up, Jungkook would deflect, insisting he was just busy.
One evening, while scrolling through his phone, Yoongi stumbled upon a news article that sent a chill down his spine. It reported that a man was missing, but it was the description of the man that caught Yoongi's attention. It matched the guy who had hit on him that night.
"Jungkook," Yoongi said, his voice trembling as he approached his boyfriend, who was sitting on the couch, his phone in hand. "Did you see this?"
Jungkook glanced up, his expression unreadable. "What is it?"
"That guy from the bar... the news," Yoongi said, showing him the article. "He's missing."
Jungkook's eyes darkened as he read through the details. "I know," he said quietly, a hint of something dangerous lurking beneath his calm demeanor.
"He... there's a serial killer on the loose and he targets gay men... you've hear of him right?" Yoongi asked.
Jungkook nodded. "I've heard about him."
"And they can't find this guy... isn't that scary?!" Yoongi urged, fear creeping into his voice.
But Jungkook simply shook his head, a smirk creeping onto his lips. "I'm sure that you... us... our friends will be safe. Don't worry baby." Jungkook said as he pulled Yoongi onto his lap and kissed him. "I'll keep you safe." He whispered before pinning Yoongi down onto the couch. "Now... let me take care of you... make you feel good." He whispered as Yoongi giggled, the news fading into background noise.
